Amazing Hotel in Sarandë
An amazing hotel to stay at while in Sarandë, and everything is good about this hotel and provides excellent value for money and would highly recommend a stay here. The staff are the loveliest people you will meet, super helpful and very polite and welcoming. The rooms though very small, yet super comfortable and well furnished. Free Parking is provided at a lot merely a 2 minute walk from the hotel. There are a couple of private beaches right outside the hotel, though they are paid yet you get discount for being a guest at Hotel Portanova. Below is the detailed review:
Location: The hotel is at the farthest end of Sarandë and is right next to beaches and water. Everything from the city is at a 5 ~ 10 minute drive. The streets are narrow but manageable. Plenty of restaurants and stores/super markets at walking distance.
Rooms: The rooms are small yet have all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The mattress and pillows are really comfortable and soft. There is ample open closet space, and a Refrigerator in the room. Both bedsides have power outlets, bedside lamps, and usb c outlets. There is a small flat screen TV in the room. Each room comes with a balcony, would recommend a room with sea view as it’s amazing. Soundproofing is not good as you can hear everything from the hallway but no noise was heard from other rooms.
Bathroom: The bathroom is small but everything is modern and works well. The water pressure on 4th Floor was really good. The shower cabin has one side open so water does spill out. The mirror has an additional light.
Staff: The staff are amazing, from check in to all the time during the stay they were super helpful and always had a smile. They really went out of the way and even provided us an electric kettle to make our own coffee in the room. They also were very helpful in helping us order food when we arrived. 10 stars for this great hospitality.
Breakfast: The breakfast was buffet with a large variety compared to the size of the hotel. They had everything from fresh fruits, cereals, cheese, bread, croissants, breakfast sandwiches, French toast etc.
Parking: The parking is at a 600 Feet walk from the property. It’s a parking lot where you have to display the hotel card on the dashboard. The parking felt secure and safe at all times of day and night.

I liked to stay here. The personal very kind and the rooms very clean! The hotel it' s in the near of the see. I highly recommend it!

Great stay! New, clean and nice place with excellent location, just 100 meters from the beach. At the same time, a bit away from the most noisy party districts. Friendly and good service.

An excellent stay-highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay at Portanova Hotel in Sarandë. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The hotel has a warm, family-run atmosphere, and you can tell they really care about their guests.
The room was spotless. We checked in early in the morning after a long journey, rested for just a couple of hours and went out. When we came back, our room had already been cleaned again, which really impressed us. The housekeeping standards were excellent throughout our stay.
Breakfast was fresh, homemade and absolutely delicious. Everything tasted freshly prepared, making each morning a pleasure.
The only small challenge was that some staff members spoke very little English, so communication could sometimes be difficult. However, everyone was incredibly kind, patient and eager to help, so it never became a real problem.
If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with friendly hospitality and a personal touch, I highly recommend Portanova Hotel. I would happily stay here again.

Really lovely hotel - the rooms were clean and modern with a nice balcony and sea view, and the staff were genuinely some of the friendliest I’ve come across. You can really feel how they look after you. A bit of a walk from the centre but honestly not a big deal, and being close to the beach more than makes up for it.
