Great hotel. Great staff. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort of the hotel and the professionalism of the employees.
Beautiful pool, good food. Big private parking. Good internet connection everywhere.

We came from Skopje and after 5 hours driving direct on this relaxing pool... free wifi free parking clean and helpful staff

Great for a fast few nights

We stayed in hotel Colombo during our roadtrip through albania. We came here after we had landed in Tirana at night, so we had to drive for aprox. 2 hours to the hotel. Our navigation system only new the road, not the address itself, so make sure to keep on driving even though you might feel like you are moving away too far from Elbasan. The hotel was fine, the room was fine (a family room for 4 persons). The room was not that spacious but it was more than big enough. The bathroom was ok. Wifi only works in the restaurant area and near the pool. The pool area, however, did not have any sunbeds to lay on. The included breakfast was fine, eggs and toast with marmalade and cheese.
The staff does not speak English or any other language except for Albanian. They might not come across as friendly but they sure would want to help you with anything!
If you won't be driving further inlands towards the border with Macedonia, make sure to have a trip to Lake Ohrid. It is beautiful and there are many nice restaurants along the way, driving to the lake from Hotel Colombo is aprox. 60 km, what will take you 90 minutes.

nice hotel

best pica even eating and a nice pool nice place for a family dinner just a few minutes from the center of city. the rooms are very clean and big space. the staff is very courteous and fast. Free wireless in the room

Fabulous room, bar, staff and great lounge to sit in. This hotel oozes quality and professionalism. Reputation for attentive service is well deserved. Divers tapas incredible drink list super food. A authentic hotel with a genuine desire
