Warm-hearted recommendation!

The family-owned 4 Stars VIVAS Hotel & SPA Wellness in Durrës beach is extremely comfortably furnished, with loving service staff, and offers a very good and daily fresh varied breakfast according to Albanian tradition.
The sea view location is excellent.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in a Superior Double Room with sea view from May 17 to May 31, 2026.
I also felt well through the SPA wellness programs.
The price range is reasonable!
Warm-hearted recommendation!
I look forward to a visit soon!

Avoid. Dirty disgusting dangerous

Disgusting dangerous hotel looks lovely outside till you enter your room outside and all inside the hotel is lovely and modern until you open the door to your room pictures speak for themselves the room had not been cleaned since 1930 by the looks of it table on balcony rusty and filthy glass couldn’t see out of it for grime bathroom is disgusting no kettle no iron and breakfast was cold eggs yoghurt no thankyou avoid it like the plague it’s disgusting never again would we return it was a birthday surprise worse birthday ever staying in this scruffy dirty flea ridden place came back with loads of bed bug bites

Location is good , hotel room awful

We were in hotel vivas July 2026.
The location is good. The fact that you don't have to pay for beachbed is a big plus.
However, the value for money does not match reality. The rooms are so old and dirty. We tried coming to breakfast earlier, but we didn't find anything there. One morning we saw hard-boiled eggs—a man took 10 eggs for himself, and they were never replenished. It wasn't very nice.
​In the room, we saw a notice board about how many liters of water canisters we are allowed to buy, which is weird. The shower head was broken and wouldn't stay up, so we wedged a bottle behind it to keep it from falling .Also, my husband was stopped when he came to the room with a pizza and told "no pizza in the room." Meanwhile, the room is so terribly filthy that I'm glad I brought wet wipes with me so I could at least clean the drawers and bed edges where my feet or head touched. Gross.​If guests are expected to keep the room clean, it would be nice if it received a thorough deep cleaning first .I wouldn't come back to this hotel.The price-to-quality ratio is way off—for that kind of money, it should have been full board instead of just bed & breakfast.

Stay in Durrës

Hotel to avoid. The only positive points are the pool and the direct access to the beach.
Room at the end of the hallway with outdated furniture, no WiFi, no shower door. Questionable cleanliness. Steps in the room (1 to enter, 1 to go into the bathroom, 1 to access the bed, 1 to go out onto the balcony). Electricity box ripped off. Pipe cover missing in the room. Woke up at 6:30 AM because of the very noisy elevator. An electrical cabinet next to the door left open. Unfriendly reception staff. Breakfast was more than mediocre. Absolutely not the standard of a 4-star hotel....

Relaxing

From start to finish my wife and I had a great time at vivas hotel, reception staff were very welcoming and friendly , waiters/bar staff the same, house keeping very good, pool staff great. All together the most relaxing holiday we have had, also the owner was very attentive and pleasant offering free snacks, cheese/meat boards and drinks. Great food and great buzz. We will tell our friends and family to visit duress and stay at the Viva's, thank you and we will be back .
