Sparrows feels like home!

This place is the best place to go to in Soroti! The rooms are very comfortable, the food is amazing, the swimming pool is refreshing. Everything is very clean, and they have recently improved a lot of things in the hotel. Also the staff is very professional and so so kind! There are good guards, so you are very safe also. This place can truly feel like home!
If you ever visit Soroti, go to this place, you won't regret it!

Sparrows the place to be while in soroti.

Great service from the start. Clean and well air-conditioned rooms, the food was good. Our stay was great. Kuddos to Benjamin he for all the necessary details even with out late reservations. I looking forward to staying again. I definitely recommend the sparrows.

A very pleasant experience!

I visited Soroti in January of 2025 and stayed at the Sparrow Hotel for the week. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms, and the attentiveness of the hotel staff. We also ate most of our meals at the restaurant on site; breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food was very good. We will book again on our next visit.

Great value hotel for the family in Soroti.

The Sparrows Hotel is an excellent hotel by local Ugandan standards. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. There is abundant hot water in the self contained rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The restaurant at the hotel is a little inconsistent though most meals were quite good. They serve typical meals; chicken & chips, a whole fish stew with rice, pork chops or ribs , or goat meat stew. Order about 45 minutes before you would like to eat.
Breakfast is included in the room price, is good quality and filling with the usual fruit, cereal, scrambled or boiled eggs, pasta, chips, juice, coffee or tea.
This hotel is great for traveling with kids as there is a spacious playground and a large, well maintained swimming pool - nice for those hot Soroti days!
Beware, the sign for the entrance for the hotel can be easy to miss. Coming from the south(Kumi side) the hotel is five minutes drive before you reach Soroti town. The sign is difficult to see!!! You will turn left about 20 meters after a Stabex petrol station and drive in about one kilometer before turning right into the hotel grounds. Coming from Soroti town Sparrows is a right turn just after Sun City Resort Hotel.
Reasonably priced and excellent value for Uganda in general and, especially, for Soroti.

A beautiful Hotel

Sparrows is a beautiful hotel out of the noise of Soroti town. I look out for ambience, hot shower, a comfortable bed, good African tea and I was fully satisfied. The staff are warm and welcoming,the food is delicious and served quite generously compared to the price. The beds are very comfortable, a hot shower made my day even better. There major difference in the pricing of the rooms is the Air-conditioning. The weather wasn't bad so I opted for the room without air-conditioning and took advantage of the balcony door to get the fresh air I needed. On one of the stormy nights, the hotel was in total black out, the stairway was wet and no one seemed particularly concerned about doing anything about the lighting or wet stairway.
Otherwise, generally it's a very good place I would choose to stay again.
