Excellent

We have been to Srilankan on a business trip and stayed here for 12 days. Rent is reasonable compared to nearby hotels. The hotel is safe to stay with family also. Rooms may not be luxurious but possess all essential needs. Manager Mr. Rashid is polite and good enough to meet many of our requirements. Mr. Fernando, the chef has kept us happy with his variety of breakfast every morning and took our choices too. Mr. Ravin Fernando and Mr. Kirubai have made us to feel at home with their hospitality. I have suggested the hotel administration to have some thermal flasks to serve the bed tea hot. On the outset the hotel is excellent.

Very old property, not renovated, old and dirty carperts, no

Detoriated

This place used to be cool, but it has since gone bad. General hygiene and customer care is bad.
My room was not furnished with the required items like a towel, cools water for a shower, I even had a rodent in my room.
The swimming pool no longer works.
The owner should sell and give to a capable investor...

Nice from far but far from buce

Dinner took 2 hours to prepare, there were no towels in the room, the shower worked if it wanted too, the tv didn't work, the Internet was down. They over charged me on the bill when checking out. Service sucks, lucky I only stayed the one night. Not staying there again...

Short stay

Despite being warned by friends we decided to stay the night and noted that the hotel is in a poor state.
Met a very pleasant lady at the reception and got rooms for our stay.We insisted to look at the rooms and noted that the rooms were very comfortable but noted that the paint was peeling off.Bath tubs were chipped and made the bathroom look messy.But we had a good supply of water,both hot and cold,thus wondering why they keep plastic jerrycans in the bathroom.Ordered fish fingers and chips,chicken and chips,onion soup and a simple omelette.
The fish fingers were disappointing.Wish they could use fresh fish.
The staff are very good but what can they do with the appalling state of the hotel?
Swimming pool has been drained and now an eyesore.
Room had mosquitoes but thanks for the mosquito nets.
Television plays only local channel,they don't cater well for foreign,or English speaking clients.
Breakfast was meager.
They really need to get help to improve.
