Little gem in Jambiani
Small property in Jambiani, not directly overlooking the sea but there is a small road and in a minute you are at the beach. We were a group and we were lucky enough to have the Daima reserved all for us. Very large rooms, furnished simply but with care and with great cleanliness. Breakfast and dinner with local products always very fresh and freshly cooked. Very good cook and help cook and always ready to meet our every request. All the staff exquisite, kind and considerate. Brenda a perfect host who made us feel really always pampered.

Falling Short of Expectations
My initial impression of the hotel differed significantly from the online photographs. The neglected pool area, with its weedy edges, cloudy water, and faded, weathered furniture, was a disappointing first sight. Check-in was pleasant, with friendly staff and a welcome drink. However, our first-floor room, situated beside a common area, was underwhelming. It resembled a basic backpacker accommodation: small, musty, and dimly lit, lacking windows. While clean, it lacked the advertised vibrancy. The room offered functional amenities, including effective air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a mosquito net, ample electrical outlets, complimentary water and toiletries, and tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom, despite a small window, had a poorly fitting door and a shower without a cubicle. The mildly salty water lacked hot water on our first morning, requiring manual activation.
Breakfast was a redeeming factor, offering a good selection of freshly prepared options with jam, toast, coffee, and juice.
Our first evening meal, however, was a major letdown. The prawn curry, served with a few minuscule, likely frozen shrimp hidden among vegetables, was far from satisfactory. The accompanying fries were excellent, but the curry itself was a poor value. When we expressed our disappointment to the waiter, who consulted the chef, we were told the dish should contain six prawns. This was unacceptable given their size and quality. While the second night's burger was adequate, the fries were inferior. Overall, this hotel fell short of expectations and didn't align with the positive reviews we'd seen.

Like in Paradise❤️
Daima villas is one of the best places I have stayed, not only during my stay in Zanzibar but during years and years of traveling. The rooms are clean and spacious with very comfortable beds, tastefully and cheerfully decorated, in African style, as is the entire facility. The pool is perfectly clean, the environment is full of vegetation so that the whole area has a very calming effect. The staff team consists of cheerful and smiling people, extremely polite and helpful, always at hand and ready to help with whatever you need. The breakfast is very varied and tasty, and the Villa also offers the option of lunch and dinner with a very rich menu, everything is very very tasty, and the prices are more than acceptable. The location is also great, very close to the beach and a pleasant 15-minute walk to Paje.
Unfortunately, we only spent 5 days at Daima Villas, but we will never forget those moments.

DAIMA VILLAS HOSTING TOURLIFE TRAVEL GROUP
We stayed at Daima villas for a week annd upon our arrival at the airport we got picked up by a gentleman , who drove us to Jambiani. Which is a 1 hour 30 minutes drive from the airport.
Then Brenda and her staff had a warm welcome for us because of our big group.They even offered us a complimentary apartment, we got to utilise The facilities around the villa with no complains at all. Our rooms were cleaned daily.
We even got to use the restaurant for our lunch and they serve the best breakfast.
The villa is a walk away from the beach were you can find restaurants.
On the day of our departure, one of our members was very sick and Brenda was available to help us organise a doctor, who quickly came to the villa.
We had the best time of our life at the Villa and will definitely be using it again next year. When we go to Zanzibar.

Excepcional lugar
Mi experiencia en Daima Villas ha sido excepcional. Es un oasis de calma, belleza y tranquilidad. Rodeado de naturaleza y a un pie de la playa. También hay lugares interesantes alrededor para ver y visitar, como Kuza Cave, Paje, Salaam Cave o The Rock. A destacar la profesionalidad, atención y gran amabilidad de todo el personal que allí trabaja. Sin duda muy recomendable, una experiencia inolvidable.
