A great place with super nice staff, a spectacular view, and a cosy, spacious room

Something Easy Inn is located at the end of Jiufen’s Old Street – a perfect spot to experience the area away from the busiest crowds. Our Junior Suite was comfortable, cosy, spacious, and well equipped, with what felt like a “million-dollar” sea view.
Like most places in Jiufen, the inn is tucked away in a pedestrian zone and only accessible via stairs. After a challenging drive through the narrow streets, our driver dropped us off nearby, and we were picked up and kindly assisted with our luggage – something we really appreciated, as finding it on our own might have been tricky.
The lovely lady who welcomed us was incredibly friendly and helpful. Although she didn’t speak English, everything worked smoothly thanks to her charm and a translator app – the name “Something Easy” truly fits. She explained the room amenities and even arranged our airport transfer.
A special highlight: we were allowed to stay in their beautiful bar above the room (normally open at 2 p.m.) while waiting for our taxi to the Airport, with help again for the luggage.
While there’s no cooked breakfast, a selection right outside the room includes bread, cereals, snacks, and excellent coffee and tea – more than enough to start the day.
We recommend staying at least one night in Jiufen, as it shows its true charm early in the morning and in the evening after the crowds have left.
A place we would happily book again on our next visit.

Something Easy Inn was one of the highlights of our Taiwan trip. Staying two nights allowed us to truly experience Jiufen beyond the crowds. The property was peaceful, comfortable, perfectly located, and has an amazing view of the mountains and sea.
Special thanks to Amy for taking such great care of us, and to Cindy for her kindness and helpfulness throughout our stay. Their hospitality made the experience even more memorable.

This property has a lot of stairs, very unique accommodation situated within the Jiufen old street. The views were amazing from the room and of course superb location to tour the area. Clean and super convenient to have hot water directly from the tap for drinks. There’s a coffee machine at the common area, lots of free snacks, bread, buns, packet drinks as well. The staff were outstanding, 2 ladies waited for our car to arrive and led us to the accommodation, helping with our luggage as well. Amy was super detailed with the introduction to our room and the surrounding. Sweet and helpful lady, thanks a lot Amy to you and your team. I really loved the stay with Something Easy Inn!

Modern and clean. Staff is awesome and super helpful. If you have big and heavy bags you should contact hotel staff to arrange transport for you from Taipei so the driver can communicate with hotel staff to go on the ideal route and minimize the hill and or stairs for moving the belongings. The amount for the transport is equivalent to Tripool and Uber
