Spontaneous overnight stay - everything is fine

We happened to pass by here because we needed to stop over.
We were greeted in a friendly manner at 9 p.m., were allowed to take a quick look at the rooms and then decided on a simple room.
The room was bright and friendly, the bathroom a bit older. Everything was clean. (And a look at the website tells me that there are also rooms with modern bathrooms).
A glass door separated the bedroom from the bathroom (I don't think that's ideal, but it seems to be modern everywhere at the moment).
Wi-Fi included.
The pillows take some getting used to, but you might get a second one if you ask.
We liked the room. However, I'm not entirely sure whether it's suitable for a stay in the summer months: It gets bright in the room and there doesn't seem to be any air conditioning (but maybe it doesn't get that warm in the rooms...)
There is a sauna, but we didn't see/use it because we didn't have time.
The breakfast was good, there was a small but varied breakfast buffet.
Nice staff.
There was still enough time for a little walk around the town the next morning. It was nice there, the whole area would definitely be worth a special trip...

Lots of good things, one small flaw...

very positive one night stay. Hotel in the center on the main street. Despite this, there are no annoying noises. Convenient rear parking with some places also covered. The room is basic, clean. Nothing exaggerated but absolutely sufficient. Kind staff. Dinner was a happy note with the exception of one unpleasant surprise. I've never seen 8.80 CHF for a bottle of water, not even 1L. the rest was excellent, this was a real flaw. Excellent breakfast, both sweet and savory. The only thing missing was the croissants. strange. I would absolutely return to this hotel
