Perfect place in Knysna

Staying at Mount Joy was even better than we could have imagined. We enjoyed the view over the lagoon a lot and were crazy about dog Gilbert. He's an angel. Owners David and Johan were very kind and friendly as well and made us feel at home. We very much hope we have the opportunity to come back here!

Best stay ever!

We booked on advice of a friend and were not disappointed. We two couples booked the family cottage over the garage. We had plenty of room and were greeted by our hosts upon arrival. Charming in every way! The weather did not cooperate but we still had a wonderfully comfortable stay. On advice of our hosts we visited several restaurants, drove the countryside and enjoyed the incredible views from our balcony. Be sure to stroll the gardens Yogesh and Keihly nurture so carefully. There is a braai to use while you enjoy the flora and fauna. The perfect Knysna spot!

Wonderful. Quaint and relaxing

If you looking for a quiet getaway for you and your spouse. This is the place to visit. For a weekend of holiday, you won't regret it. The husband and wife that runs this place are the friendliest and kindest People I've met ever. They will make your stay worth it.

Beautiful and relaxing

Our second visit here, made so very welcome, fantastic hosts who make every effort to make your stay an enjoyable experience.
They have made some changes after the forest fires made some damage, but like a Phoenix has risen from the ashes, the incredible gardens are outstanding.
We love it here.
