Real relaxation in a completely natural and peaceful area
We went to the Wind Blend up north towards Jaffna and back towards Negombo.
This Kalpitiya peninsula is a true treasure like all the coastal corners of the country. The strength of the establishment is the kindness of Sudath and his team, always attentive, always willing to give you the best room and arrange with you the best dishes without abuse.
We advise you to plan this for the morning and evening at least to enjoy fresh fish and well-arranged dishes.
Sudath is able to arrange a lot of excursions and transportation even if it means investing on his own to help his guests.
Many people give themselves time for meditation, swimming pool and showers under the stars. Unforgettable!

Very Beautiful with Nice Beach hats, perfect for kitesurfing
We had an incredible experience at Wind Blend in Kappaladi! The accommodation features charming local architecture huts right on the beach, which made for a perfect and authentic stay. The kitesurfing conditions were phenomenal, with the wind blowing every day during our August visit, and the lagoon and ocean waves were absolutely amazing. We also loved the delicious food and the fresh coconuts provided by the local owner. The beach hut staff were super friendly and helpful with the launching service, making everything run smoothly. We highly recommend Wind Blend for anyone looking for a fantastic beach getaway!

Not great!
Atmosphere is not great, looks very old and not maintained. Our room had no lights to the shower area. Outdoor toilet, no doors, outdoor shower area. Very basic amenities. No where in the website it is indicated that the toilet and the shower area is located outside of the room and there is no lock to lock the back door.
Food is not good, cold dinner and cold breakfast , both very basic was served. Beds and pillows were not comfortable not worth the money we paid.
We had an incident where the entrance door was so low and one of our family members knocked the head and ended up at the medical centre. There were no proper first aid was available at the hotel even treat the patient. The hotel took no responsibility, no suggestion of a medical centre, we had take care of everything.
Beware tourists!

Our stay was 3 nights. Nice staff and they tried to help. The Wifi was not working all the time. There was no yoga available. Kitchen staff did not know much english, so we had problems with dietary issues. The water served in dinners is not bottled water. Maybe better not to drink.

Authenticity Sri Lankan with great food, comfy rooms and simply the nicest staff!
Staff are superb - super friendly & very helpful. Rooms are simple but comfy with great wifi & wonderful outdoor shower. Brilliant location close to beach. My only small quibble is that more lighting in the room would be appreciated. Booked for 2 days ended up staying 4 - it’s a lovely resort!
