Excellent!
Beautiful place, right on the most peaceful beach we’ve ever seen. The whole experience was wonderful, what made it extra special was our host Dilu. She was wonderful. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the whole property is kept spotless. Thank you so much Dilu, you made our stay at Dutch Villa extra special!

Disappointing!
The sheets and towels all stained, I found hair in the sheets, the staff was friendly and provided giving us several times the change of the latter. I had to put my own pareo to separate the pillow from my head because despite having changed it I could smell the sweat of others. The bathroom leave it alone. Our room overlooked the street, crow noise all night and early morning car noises and horns. Also the air conditioner was noisy and even if you increased the degrees it would freeze. For what I paid I expected (in addition to cleaning, shampoo and shower foam).
In trincomalee there is nothing touristy, maybe a restaurant and a convenience store the rest a desolation (much better Uppaveli). In conclusion, even the location is in a strategic area, it is not a 70€ hotel per night as I paid but as far as I am concerned maybe from 20€ per night.
