Great Stay in Kigali — Cozy, Relaxing, and Perfectly Located Near the Airport

I visited Olympic Hotel Kigali in January 2026 with friends, and we honestly had an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel offers a really cozy and comfortable accommodation, with a calm atmosphere that makes it easy to relax after a busy day in Kigali.
What made our stay even better was the variety of facilities available on-site. We enjoyed the spa, spent time at the swimming pool, and also used the gym, which was clean, well-maintained, and convenient. It felt like the perfect balance between comfort and wellness.
We also held a meeting in the hotel’s conference room, and it was very convenient and well-organized—ideal for business travelers or small events. The staff were helpful and professional, making sure everything ran smoothly.
One of the biggest advantages is the location: the hotel is close to Kigali International Airport, which makes it a great choice for travelers who want easy access without sacrificing comfort and quality.
Overall, Olympic Hotel is a fantastic option for anyone visiting Kigali—whether for business, leisure, or a mix of both. I’d gladly return and highly recommend it.

Homely and friendly staff. The staff goes above and beyond, especially for meals. One staff member even helped me get my telephone fixed by taking me to a local electronics repair shop. I felt home…

Disappointing

Somewhat disappointing... not hot water; a kettle but no cups or coffee in the room. The staff was good but no compensation for the lack of shower or coffee in the room.,....so hard to find a reasonably priced hotel in Kigali. I do not think I would return....just keep trying other places.
