Unique hotel accommodation with fantastic views

At the beginning of February I stayed with my son at the hotel My Hill Eco Lodge.
We had a very nice time there.
The location of the hotel is phenomenal with views of the lake and volcano mountains. Gervais, the owner of the hotel picked us up in Kigali and took us across the lake to the hotel,
There we were greeted with a welcome drink & warm damp towels to wash our hands. The staff was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast with lots of fruits and a fresh smoothie, Spanish omelette and first class cappuccino. The fish fresh from the lake is also recommended!
The view from the room was a force!
We were there 4 days and enjoyed everything very much. Thanks to Gervais and his staff .
We felt very comfortable. There was a tour across the lake with the opportunity to photograph. We booked this gladly and enjoyed the sunset from the boat.

Amazing trip at My Hill Eco Lodge

Amazing Hotel with a very nice view. This is a hotel which is located at Ruhondo Lake, where you can view all sides of the Lake, Hills right and left, and all volcanoes

Beautiful views and beautiful staff

If the views don't amaze you, the lovely staff will. Truly gorgeous place with beyond amazing views from rooms and the bar and restaurant. Worth the trek up the hill to get there. Thankfully helpful kids and staff took our bags up for us! Lake Ruhondo and the views to the volcanoes are gorgeous. We did an excellent canoe tour on the lake and a very tiring ride on mountain bikes. Next time I will do their hike to see neighbouring Lake Burera. Make sure to try the fresh tilapia. Devine!

A Real Gem!

We were staying on the Lake at an Airbnb and decided to have a drink at My Hill Lodge. We ended up having dinner and then breakfast there. Our host Christian was such a kind, helpful person. We’d come back just to see him but the food was also so incredible and sumptuous! The African Tea is not to be missed.

beautiful and quiet location

Beautiful location on the lake, accessible by boat. Very friendly welcome by Yves and Patience. Beautiful bungalows, spacious and neatly decorated, nice terrace with 180° view over the lake and the volcanoes. restaurant on site with good food, good breakfast.
