Formerly known as Penzion u Splavu - simple accommodation

The place has only 4 rooms - but they are reasonably sized with two twin beds. There is no air conditioning but there are screens on the windows so you can keep them open. The area was very quiet at night but you will hear the birds and chickens early on unless you have ear plugs. :)
Toilet is separate from the sink/shower. Hair dryer available but recommend bringing your own shower gel/shampoo as this is not included.
Beds were too hard for me, but okay for others. Pillows were nice, large and full.
Breakfast is paid separately and is simple but enough - bread, fruit, cereal, cold cuts, cheese, jam. Scrambled eggs provided one day. Only one coffee/tea included in breakfast. You will need to let them know the night before what time you want your breakfast.
The Penzion is a very short walk to the river.
Restaurant recommendation walking distance is Restaurace Gargano - excellent grilled meat choices - some of the best chicken ever. Lots of salad and vegetarian choices as well.
English is generally not spoken in this town, so bring google translate and a few words to help you along.
To learn about the culture - consider visiting Havlíčkova vila for their current exhibitions. We attended one on folk dress and artwork of the regions - Excellent.

Wonderfully appointed.

If you ever find yourself halfway between Prague and Budapest and you need a place to spend the night, you are in luck! Penzion U-Machu is the place for U! Very clean wonderfully appointed rooms (the owner Karel has thought of everything) and so reasonable we paid $57 CAD.

Vše v pořádku :-)

Příjemná obsluha, čisté pokoje, funkční wifina, dobrá snídaně, poměr cena výkon tady zajišťují obě složky, výsledek je vynikající. Trochu mi chybělo točené pivo, ale to bude zřejmě dan za lokalitu. Hezky to vykompenzovala výborná meruňkovice

Останавливались по пути в Пандорф, брали два номера. Отличное местоположение, свежий ремонт, очень чисто, удобные кровати, тихое место, приличный завтрак. Приятный и вежливый персонал. Рекомендуем всей семье!

Отличный вариант

Прекрасный вариант для остановки в Брецлаве. Чистые номера с хорошей мебелью и новой сантехникой. Есть кондиционер. Быстрый и бесплатный wi-fi. Есть своя парковка и гараж. Хорошие завтраки. Дружелюбный и общительный хозяин пан Карел Мах и его супруга рассказали что и где можно посмотреть, посоветовали катание на кораблике (пристань прямо за пансионом) и дали много полезных советов.
