Perfect weekend away

Enjoyed staying in the oak tree again it is the most friendly place and very clean and rooms are modern lovely comfortable bed perfect breakfast.
There was entertainment on it was a little loud but it stops at 11pm so can’t complain it’s a lovely local pub with b&b perfect

Fantastic Stay

I stayed here with my wife and our two friends for two nights whilst visiting Beamish Living Museum. The owners were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The rooms were very clean, spacious and modern. There is a very cosy beer garden at the side of the building which we used during our stay. The breakfast was absolutely brilliant. Remember, this is a working local pub, so be prepared for some noise, but you can hear a pin drop after 11pm. There is also three parking at this establishment.
All said, we had a wonderful stay ,and will definitely be returning in the near future.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff were helpful and polite, even moved me from a room in the inn to an annexe room so I could be away from noise from bar. Also had a very good breakfast which is extra but excellent value for money. Definitely recommend it hotel and breakfast.

Lovely staff, all friendly and proud of the Inns History.
We were there on a very quiet night! Lovely large room with a 4 poster bed and excellent bathroom with walk in shower.
Breakfast beat us, freshly prepared as we came down.
