Very poor check in as always, takes an age, there has to be a more efficient way. Pretty dreadful shower and stinky drains

When booking, did not realise that in was student non summer residency, however it was very clean and did the job for the night we were stopping. Staff were friendly and helpful, plus we were able to leave our bags.

This is a dorm room ( in case hotels.com description misleads you.) It’s perfectly located, and very cheap. Overall it is a great place to stay if you want an economical place to stay with no frills. However, I was put in a room that was on a basement level in Gabor Hall - a room that had a weird smell in the bathroom and so many fruit flies in the hallway that would get into the room. This greatly affected my ability to enjoy the property. I told the staff but they didn’t or couldn’t do anything about it. If you book - check out the room and hall first. Maybe stay away from the basement level. I don’t think the fly infestation was everywhere. However, even with flies, and smells, and whatever else - I would still recommend staying here to a solo traveler on a budget who doesn’t want to book a hostel.

The check in was very slow (too many guests, too little staff) but other than that, everything went smoothly. We enjoyed our stay.
