Good compromise

Well-located apartment hotel between several metro stations. Small room but very comfortable bed. On the other hand, the bathroom is tiny and the window lets in the cold, and it is not soundproof; you can hear everything from the street. Check-in is done at another location (200m away). It is well-maintained and has cameras everywhere; one feels safe.

It was good

The superior studio it showed on booking.com is not the one we stayed in so this was disappointing as the layout was odd. Air con was great and room was clean. Pillows were awful and air freshener was cloying in hallway. Great location

Definitely not 4 star

I arrived at the hotel early due to flights and asked the hotel for luggage storage, I was directed to an open unsecured room so I had to make sure I took all valuables with me. The reception team (1 man show) refused to even entertain an early check in despite having travelled over 29 hours to get here. Once he allowed us to check in a generous 10 minutes early we made our way to the room which was the size of a shoe box but very clean. The bathroom was super tiny and I am not sure it would pass code anywhere else as you had to be a contortionist to use the toilet. The air conditioning was not functioning properly and I advised of this and a man came in waved his hand in front of it and said it will be fine. The following day I advised it was still not working and I don’t believe anyone looked at it further. Also prior to our trip I sent several emails asking questions and they were never answered. In all the area I found to be well located very close to Bayswater station and the underground staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful, it is a shame that the team at the hotel were not as helpful and or friendly.
Also a minor whinge was looking forward to a shower and a glass of wine but no wine glasses which yes minor but one would think a self reclaimed 4 star property would have such basic items.

Nice hotel with great location.

A hotel that is well located in between toe tube stations, Bayswater and Queensway, close to Hyde Park. Clean and tidy, newly renovated, quiet area, but close to shops and eateries. The room was just the right size, we could fit our suitcases. A kitchenette with everything you need for breakfast. Fresh bathroom with shower. There was also a large terrace where you could sit and enjoy if you wanted it. Very friendly staff.

Good clean hotel and ideally placed

The location is very good because 5 minutes from 2 stations and on 2 metro lines, ideal for visiting the city. The parts hills and rooms are very clean. The rooms and bathrooms are small. The kitchenette is quite well equipped. We were there in summer, the air conditioning worked. The lottery's good too. Only downside: the soundproofing of the not terrible windows.
