Great hotel easy parking good access to A30 and room was really nice. Breakfast was really good choice and great friendly service. I will stay again !

It was a good location in the south part of Exeter 20 min walk to city centre and parking was free on site.
Having said all that property was clean and staff helpful but feel the room price was expensive for the tiny room we had.
Breakfast has the essence and ingredients to be good but just wasn’t both days.
A little disappointed but enjoyed the city.

Good Position into Exeter City
Our room was at the front of the property and we were worried with the busy road we would not have a good sleep, however we did sleep well.
There was no aircon, however there was a very good fan which cooled the room.
Shower room small but did everything we needed, so no probs, and nice large towels.
Breakfast has a good choice which was very nice.
Would certainly return if we go to Exeter again.
Also it's a short 15 mins to the quayside in exeter + 10 mins more to the centre for shopping.
Car parking also a bonus.

Nice independent hotel. As others have mentioned the noise from the road is so loud and constant. But if you have some decent ear plugs that shouldn't stop you staying here.
Great location for dinner at the Quay and free parking.
O ly slight downside was having to pay £10 for a lost room card whilst standing watching them put a newpiece of plastic in the machine to allocate to room. This shouldn't really be £10 as the rooms are probably expensive enough.
I'd probably stay again but mainly because of the location and parking.

Horrendous
What to say about this hotel? 1 star as I can't give 0 and the man was nice on check in it did not make up for the worst stay ever. Our room, from of property on a main road with single glazing. A heavy duty fan that would wake the living dead.
Awoken at 4.30 by cars and seagulls. I work in a Listed building and you can have secondary glazing but hey, when the cars, lorries start driving by, you can't open the window as they are so damn loud so I'm sat her, it's 04.37am and I don't think I've been in a worst hotel.
The bathroom is the size of a broom closet and the shower was, not even adequate.
I appreciate it's a heat wave but you need a quieter fan that people can have on all night, not this monstrosity. The fan is 90db for the fan and 95 dB for street traffic. Under HSE guidance, anything over 85db ear defenders must be worn - good luck sleeping through that! Perhaps a call to the HSE to put this farce of a hotel on the radar.
I've a 16 hour day ahead of on 5 hour sleep because of the noise.
Not happy, not impressed and avoid unless you want to hear the cars from 0430 hrs!
At 5.23 I went down and asked for ear plugs - they have them as people complain about the noise but god forbid if they shall leave them in the room because that shows it is too damn noisy.
When I went down, the useless night porter said that no management is in from 6am - midday so people cannot complain - apparently you can talk to the breakfast team..... That way if you have an issue with your stay, you have to ring - and get fobbed off.
Went down to breakfast, every seat stained. I had a cream dress on so had to put serviettes out.
Went in at 12 and no manager, just a receptionist who was about as much use as a chocolate tea pot.
