Highly Recommended

We spent one night in the Romany Rye. You can park for 1 hour on the street directly outside the pub and then there is free parking just around the corner between 4 pm and 10 am. The staff were efficient, helpful and professional. The room was clean and spacious with plenty of tea, coffee etc available. Service at the bar was very quick and the Romany Rye is a fantastic advertisement for Wetherspoon's Hotels. Highly recommended.

disability discrimination

i had a manager come to me very aggressively and tell me to turn my phone down which wasn’t loud
so i did .
he then came back and told me to turn it down again i have hearing difficulties and severe anxiety i have only just stopped therapy i found him aggressive rude to the point where he has made me cry
also i think this is unacceptable as a manager to act like this especially when there are women and children in the pub his name is ian (manager) and i feel he had compassion towards my disabilities which has caused me to spiral and caused me a lot of emotional distress

Great Central Location To Explore Norfolk

This Wetherspoon Hotel was excellent value.
The check in process was quite quick but may have been longer had the pub been really busy.
Room was clean and of reasonable size, enough storage for a few days, although bed a little on the small side as we normally sleep in a king size, but it was very comfortable. The room was serviced daily which was not expected to be honest. Noise levels low too which was good as I’m a light sleeper!
Food in the pub was really good, probably the best I have had in a Wetherspoons, and I’ve eaten in many up and down the country. The staff always friendly and attentive.
I’d certainly recommend this hotel if you’re going to tour around Norfolk for a few days, I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Excellent Stay

Used this as a stay over on a works meeting. Facilities were excellent. Lovely clean room, everything you could want provided. To say it is over a pub there was no noise. No parking but we parked free nearby which was a 5 minute walk. Didn't use the pub for the evening meal but had a light breakfast which was lovely. Unlimited coffee. Would definately come here again.

Great overall stay.

The staff were immediately active to register me and explain facilities, parking nearby etc, very efficient. The room was spacious and well equipped with tea, coffee, iron etc. Bed was very comfortable and the air con very welcome. Had an excellent night's sleep, no noise from the street.
