Fabulous

Lovely B & B, clean comfortable and great breakfast. Owners were lovely and helpful over our requests. Would def recommend and we would def go back.

Another lovely stay

We have stayed at Shearwater a number of times now and we always find this accommodation perfect for our needs. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly, the rooms are a great size and well equipped and maintained. The breakfast is excellent with a good choice of cereals, fresh fruit, waffles, pain au chocolat, toast and jam and you fill out a menu choice for cooked breakfast daily which you leave in the hallway for the hosts, so they can tailor your preferences. There’s also tea, coffee, juices etc. The one difference I have noticed this time is that breakfast is now served in the communal dining room. I personally preferred the old situation which was having a table in your room and eating in private for 2 reasons, I like the option of having a table to use when I’m in the room and also, being autistic, I value my space so prefer not to be enclosed by a group of strangers in close proximity but that’s just my personal preference and I can’t fault the guest house for that which is why I’m still happy to give 10/10 to the accommodation.

Every thing was perfect from arrival parking taken care of.
Lovely room very clean and tidy.
1st class well worth a visit
Breakfast perfect .
Host was perfect from greetings us to saying goodbye.

Short break in Bridlington.

Our visit to Shearwater guest house was a lovely stay, we got a great reception from the host with plenty of information for our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable and very spacious. Breakfast was delivered each morning to our room and was delicious, kept us going all day, would stay here again!

Northern Soul Weekender & Northern Hospitality

Friendly hosts. Excellent brekkie every day, which is ordered the previous evening and delivered to the room. (Most hotels charge extra for room service)!!
Nice touch with biscuits for every afternoon we came back with a cuppa.
Very very clean. Sweeties on the hall table welcome.
We were in the attic which I suspect was one of the smaller rooms. Everything you needed was there and it was a very very hot long weekend. Parking is not an issue. Local information also available in leaflet/booklet form or local knowledge from the owners.
Excellent stay. Will stay again thank you
