Do not book if u want a nice experience

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT A NICE EXPERIENCE. The room is modern but the customer service completely ruined this experience. Our room only had 1 robe and 1 towel so my husband asked for another towel and was met with disdain and annoyance. Then when we checked out, we left our room at 12 and spoke quickly with the cleaner who came to clean the room. I then came down stairs around 12.06pm ( our room was at back of hotel and 1 of the elvators was broken ) my husband who had gone first was already being told by the male teenage customer service person that we had to pay an extra 100 zlt for 'late' check out. They really hate their 'guests'. Even the car park gives you 15 min grace period. I challenged this as our room key finished at 12 and our room was already being cleaned. He told us "this is not how it works" , "we should have been at desk before 12". I have never experienced this attitude before. I asked him to call a manager but no one picked up. And eventually at 12.15pm he agreed to 'release us' like we were criminals. I understand that he may have been nervous about getting in trouble. But more training is required, and a level of common sense is needed. Even if we had of paid for extended checkout we could not go back to our room as it was being cleaned??? So he would have had to find us another room ..... which then would also have needed to be cleaned. All because of this we would never recommend or return. There is no fridge in the room and no towels In the pool area. You would think that a hotel with very few guests would take the time to treat the ones they have a little better.
