Hotel El Refugio d'Elise
Tucked away in the impressive Colca Valley, this rustic-style inn features thermal baths, one of them being covered, the others being opened, all of them, nestled in a majestic landscape with a view of the Colca river and dominants mountains. Rooms are styled with rustic walls in delicate pale olive shades, all of them having a view of the valley and the river. Each room has a small balcony or terrace where you can admire a splendid view. All rooms have modern private bathrooms. A full American breakfast is served in the Restaurant; this one features panoramic windows with views of the valley and serves local specialties. There is also a small central iron-cast fireplace. El Refugio is ideally located 1640 feet from Chivay’s bus station.

Perfect overnight stop enroute to see the condors!

If you like the special and want to do without comfort is the right place
It is certainly something special , but the room comfort is difficult. The room smelled strange, unfortunately there is no window to open. Ventilation only with the front door and other visitors pass by. The room was dark and damp.
The breakfast was very good, the service too.

In a particular place, beautiful but many limits
Room quite spartan but, above all, cold
Ok that there will also be logistical difficulties given the altitude and location but if you offer advanced tourism you can not put only a micro stove, leaving the bathroom freezing (the stove or was in the bedroom or bathroom...)
And then at night, when the power went out frequently, it didn't even work!
Very modest dinner and also it in the cold. There was only one chimney, that didn’t work

Nice hotel with beautiful views but the kitchen leaves much to be desired
The rooms are very spacious and have baths with views.
The only catch is that the dinner is included, is very scarce and the quality was quite improveable. After dinner we had stomach problems
