Wat een fijne plek!
Samen met onze twee kinderen hebben wij een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Leut. Wij hadden kamer de Waker. Deze kamer is op de eerste verdieping boven het restaurant. De kamer is modern, schoon, heeft een riant tweepersoonsbed, een kledingkast, een tv en een zithoek met een tafel met 2 stoelen + een bankje. Op de vliering (die je bereikt met een ladder) bevinden zich twee eenpersoonsbedden. Er is een badkamer met heerlijke douche, grote wastafel en toilet.De kamer bevind zich aan de straatzijde. Op de overloop bevinden zich de deuren naar de andere twee kamers en ook een groot keukenblok. Hierop vind je informatie flyers over Vlieland, een wasbak, een waterkoker, een Nespresso (theezakjes en cupjes worden aangeboden in de kamer), magnetron, lades met koppen, glazen, suiker, honing en bestek. Er is een koelkast met een selectie aan drankjes (noteren en later afrekenen) de koelkast is verder voor eigen gebruik. Ontbijt is exclusief, je kunt dit afnemen en toevoegen op de eindfactuur. Ontbijt kan worden genuttigd in het leuke restaurant beneden of op de kamer. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het menu is gezond en lekker. Kortom: wij komen graag nog eens terug bij Leut!

Very disappointed - this is not the Leut we knew anymore
For many years Leut was known as a friendly, fine and healthy place for breakfast and lunch. Unfortunately, that has been completely ruined since the new tenants.
The organization was very poor, creating unnecessary frustration. The staff were unfriendly and unprofessional, looked cranky and were anything but customer friendly. Worse still: they were complaining about guests of the coffee shop with other guests, which you would not like to hear or see as a visitor.
The map has also changed completely, and not for the better. Where Leut was previously known for an original, healthy menu with high-quality dishes, juices and drinks - almost everything organic and with a clear local, Vlieland signature such as the well-known Vlieland bunker cheese and cranberries - that has now become a completely uninspired menu. The word "organic" can only be found in two places on the whole new map, and almost nothing remains of the local products that used to make the place so special.
Instead, you'll see generic smoothie-bar names like "Skinny Breakfast," "Power Breakfast" and "Yellow Goodness" - the kind of card you'll find anywhere in the world, without any identity of your own. Where the business used to be run by an owner who came from the island herself and who could also be felt in the authenticity and personal approach, that sense of local connection is now completely gone. The former healthy juices and smoothies have given way to a simple glass of orange juice with a little fruit - 6.50 euros.
And the prices are in stark contrast to what you get for it. The acai bowl now costs 15 euros for - to be honest - little more than an unsightly, limp-looking drape with a scoop of coconut grater and some slices of banana on top. The pancakes, which seemed to come from a package rather than homemade, cost 14 euros. And even a simple avocado bun - no more than a little avocado spread on a slice of bread - is on the menu for 15 euros. These are bizarre prices for this quality, especially considering the organic and local character that the business once stood for has now largely disappeared.
In short, the whole soul has disappeared from the business - on all fronts: conviviality, professionalism, quality and origin of the food - at prices that are completely disproportionate to what is served. It feels like someone sitting here who has no heart for the cause and only looks at money. Hopefully the once successful concept of the past will be revived soon.

Distasteful and rude.
Rude service, lukewarm coffee, food was served in stages, and to top it all off an extraordinarily unsavory drape that was sold as an açai bowl. Embarrassing that was served at all. We didn’t have to pay in the end, but that was also all that was said. Nauseating.

Heerlijk maar niet goedkoop
Hippe luxe lunchroom. Trendy en gezonde gerechten. Vriendelijke bediening. Je zit er gezellig. Druk bezocht. Leuke leestafel.
Gezonde gerechten maar prijs kwaliteit verhouding niet helemaal goed. In de doorlopende straat van Vlieland met winkeltjes en horeca.

Prima kamer
Leut is een koffiebar annex logies. Wij hebben hier 2 dagen verbleven. Kamer was ruim met een tweepersoonsbed en 2 aparte bedden op vliering. Zeer schoon en verzorgd op leuke plek aan de Dorpstraat. 's morgen heerlijk ontbijt op terras. Echte aanrader voor zeer redelijke prijs.
