Be careful when you booked the hotel over the weekends because they change the rate.big time. I would like to get full refund in my stay because I had paid extra nigh and only used one night of my reservation.

The hotel is the most relaxing way to enjoy Taxco. The town is so dense because of the mountainside location, that you need a place to retreat from the noise, traffic and density of the folks working thier way up and down the cobblestone streets (with no sidewalks). The hotel provides a welcome respite. The Saturday night fiesta was similar to cruise ship entertainment, smart, sassy and fun. We enjoyed it all. Gracias. What I would suggest to management for weekend entertainment: The circular palapa club that overlooks the pool has a spectacular night view of the city. HIRE THE TRIO that played during the Sunday brunch: Los Betos. They were older, traditional and played all the songs from the 40s and 50's that all mexicanos love. Unfortunately, that night, the hotel had a singer guitarist, who was not on par with the other entertainment. Easy fix, and older folks will have a nice place to hang out with romantic tunes on stage. IMHO.

Hotel and amenities are amazing. Especially if you come with family and want kids to be able to run around freely. Big pool with lots of chairs and a million dollar view. Same view for restaurant. Unfortunately our stay was off to a bad start when we showed up and they didn’t have a room ready at check-in time. Reservation was made 2 weeks prior.
Restaurant food is great, service is poor with the exception of Alejandro, he was a jewel. Same for pool area, you will have to find your waiters.

Bar near pool area was close. Overall great and wonderfull stay.
You always need taxi to visit the city/ downtown. Awesome views with cable car / teleferico.

The views were amazing and the place was wonderful. There wasn't enough direction about what was available at the resort, and most of what was available was closed so it was a bit alienating. Lift should be included in hotel, and is advertised to be.
