Beautiful
Beautiful riad, super clean and always perfectly tidy. Every day our room was cleaned carefully and everything was spotless. The breakfast was very generous and absolutely delicious!
When we arrived, we were welcomed by a very kind man who gave us lots of useful advice about what to visit and how to get around Marrakech.
During the rest of our stay, we were mainly looked after by a guy named Mohamed, who was truly amazing. Every morning he asked us what time we wanted breakfast ready, and every evening he came to pick us up where the taxi dropped us off, no matter the time, because we had asked him to. Definitely not something to take for granted.
He was always incredibly kind, helpful, friendly and available for anything we needed. We really felt at home. Highly recommended!

An authentic corner of Marrakech between relaxation and tradition
We stayed in this riad in the Kasbah area and the experience was definitely positive.
The location is great: in 3 minutes walk you reach the Saadite Tombs and El Badi Palace. It is located in a maze of alleys typical of Marrakech, which at first can displace, but once you get the hand it all becomes simple.
The riad is smaller than we expected, but very nice and authentic. We organized with them the transfer from the airport (15 €): a good choice, because you avoid bargaining on arrival to save little or nothing. The driver was punctual, nice and spoke good English.
Upon arrival we were greeted by Mohamed, kind and discreet, who made us sit for check-in (payment required in advance, also in euros) offering us a great mint tea.
We had the Vanilla room on the ground floor: nice and tastefully decorated in perfect Moroccan style, but with some limits. It is poorly soundproofed and you can hear the noises of the common areas; also, for privacy, you can not fully open the shutters. If I came back, I would definitely choose a room upstairs.
Cleanliness impeccable, both the bedroom and the bathroom. Very romantic atmosphere.
Hearty and varied sweet breakfast, with different proposals every day. We also tried the Moroccan dinner on the first night (15 €) and it was a great choice: very good both the tchatchouka and the beef tanjia with lemon and olives, really well prepared.
Also highly recommended is the couples hammam experience (50 €) directly in the riad: the “Royal Escape” treatment is complete and relaxing, with hammam, black soap, scrub and ghassoul mask. Special thanks to Leyla, professional and very kind.
Last note of merit for Oussama, probably the owner, always helpful and welcoming.
Overall, a very pleasant stay. With a room upstairs it would have been perfect.

Grazie mille, Valeriano, per la tua recensione dettagliata e lusinghiera. Siamo lieti che tu abbia apprezzato la posizione, la calorosa accoglienza del nostro team e i nostri servizi, in particolare la cena e l'hammam. Come in molti riad, l'architettura si sviluppa attorno a un patio centrale, che a volte può creare un leggero riverbero naturale dei suoni, indipendentemente dal piano. Questo fa parte del fascino e dell'autenticità del luogo ed è generalmente molto apprezzato dai nostri ospiti. Speriamo di avere il piacere di darti nuovamente il benvenuto a Marrakech.

Riad des Lys 2-6 February 2026. Fabulous location, beautiful Riad and Vincent was the perfect host.
Everything was seamless from pick up at
Airport to dinner on arrival at the Riad des Lys. Our room (the Zahara) was beautifully presented and decorated for our arrival and the staff were helpful and attentive. The rooftop pool was a lovely space to chill and read or sunbathe and towels and hats were available if required. We also had a spa and I can highly recommend the relaxing massage. The location of the Riad is ideal with lots
of shops and restaurants nearby. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable.

A riad to be enjoyed without moderation
Located 15 minutes from Jemaa el-Fna Square, the Riad des Lys is a true gem. It captivated us with its location, its decoration in the Moroccan tradition, the room with very good quality bedding, the delicious breakfasts, and the terrace with a small pool that is super pleasant after walking all day.
We are welcomed with empathy, over tea, by Oussama, who introduces us to the riad and tells us that we will be here like at home. That's false; it's 100 times better than home!
How could it not be with a discreet yet always available staff, attentive to your well-being and your little needs.
Aicha, the cleanliness guardian, refreshes the room every day with a superb presentation of the linens. She is also an excellent cook; thank you, Aicha, for this delicious tangia.
A big shout-out to Mohammed, who fulfilled all our requests, even the last-minute ones. This boy is simply magical!
For activities (day tour around Marrakech, hot air ballooning), the riad offered us services of great quality.
We concluded our stay with a treatment performed by the expert hands of Leila and her colleague: a bubble of relaxation.
We will return without hesitation.

A magnificent experience
A perfect stay, lovely hosts! The Riad is as it is in the pictures, beautiful, pleasant, tastefully decorated. And so clean! everything is so perfect, a pleasure to come home. The smells of cooking... everything is homemade, the breakfast is almost gargantuan, the meals are excellent, we will remember for a long time this wonderful lemon chicken tagine on the first evening. They are discreet and with little care .. a real change of scenery! Do not hesitate to book a steam room, scrub, massage... an unforgettable experience! Everything was perfect, the shuttle to the airport, meals, advice and especially the welcome!!! In short a big thank you to all, Osama, Mohammed & Aïcha! and we will not fail to return soon so much we loved!
