Wonderful gem in the heart of St Julians!

Excellent! Great location close to everything...shops, bars, restaurants and bus stop a few minutes walk. However, what makes the location great is it's tucked up a quiet triq, no noise, no traffic, tranquil! We had the pleasure of a long stay, 2 months and will definitely be back. From the moment you walk in the door you are taken care of...the reception staff and housekeeping are wonderful. Room with sea view and balcony so relaxing! Can't recommend Dean Hamlet and it's wonderful people enough.

Unfortunately, they refused to change my reservation dates or give me a voucher for later... in an exchange that was clearly seeking confrontation unnecessarily. Not professional at all... just a company that seeks to make money without respect for the customer.

Nice holidays

The hotel is quite normal... but it is economical, it is well located, the rooms are large, sometimes they make you the room and sometimes not.... But... It was more than filled by the sympathy and kindness of David the receptionist, to remove his hat, would return without hesitation

So so

I went in April with a friend. There are pros and cons.
PROS:
- prices (€100 for two nights. Therefore, €50 per night for two, i.e. €25 per person per night).
- location (San Julien is small, so it doesn't take much to be in the centre, but it was in a fairly convenient location);
- cleaning;
- from the room there was a view that was nothing short of breathtaking.
AGAINST:
- By phone I asked if there would be a swimming pool. Indeed, the swimming pool was there, but it was closed as it was low season. Maybe they should have specified.
- There was no bidet in the bathroom!
- In every hotel I've been to, they give a 2 liter bottle of water per guest. Not here, and when I asked them if they could provide me with water I was told to take it from the machine (at the modest sum of €1.60 for a half-litre bottle);
- Wi-Fi too slow, literally unusable;
- The fridge in the room made noise, during the night it was really annoying;
- There was no shutter, so light came in through the window, which is a problem for those who can't sleep with light (like me).

Nightmare hotel should close

Horrible structure, rude manager or manager, even though we complained about the poor hygiene and asked for a change of rooms, he left us in the rooms booked without changing our rooms because according to him there was no availability, then they had asked for the room to be cleaned but not it was possible because there were no people available.
Horrible structure, never seen things like this, air conditioners not working, room full of hair, showers with hair, dirty tablecloths and sheets, toilet with pee inside.
The hotel, if you can call it that, did not make itself available to resolve the problem.
Terrible experience, not recommended.
