Nicht zu empfehlen
Gästehaus liegt abgelegen, ca. 20 Fahrminuten von Kuldīga. Für uns eine Notlösung, da zentral leider alles ausgebucht war. Gästehaus liegt in herrlich, natürlicher Umgebung mit div. Teichen, die zum Baden einladen. Das Gelände scheint aber eher eine grosse Baustelle zu sein als eine Umgebung, um Gäste zu empfangen. Die Besitzer machen wohl Vieles selbst und können sich handwerklich verwirklichen. Vieles ist angefangen und nicht fertig, oder wurde noch nie beendet und verfällt jetzt langsam , alte vor sich verrostende Autos und Maschinen stehen auf dem Gelände - insgesamt wirkt das Anwesen heruntergekommen und schäbig - schade um die herrliche Umgebung. Gastgeber sprechen weder deutsch noch englisch, aber sicher russisch. Sie wirken irgendwie unbeholfen und überfordert im Umgang mit Gästen. Wir reservierten online ein Zimmer für 3 Prs. Als wir ankamen gab eine Dame uns ein unglaublich kleines Zimmer für 2 Prs., das gerade genug Platz bot für ein Doppelbett und ein kleines Stühlchen in der Ecke. Das Gepäck fand keinen Platz im Zimmer. Das Bad mussten wir mit div. anderen Prs. teilen, es war sehr dreckig und eklig. Bett und Bettwäsche waren sauber, aber das Zimmer an sich bot Spinnweben ein zu Hause. Preis-Leistung stehen an diesem Ort im krassen Missverhältnis (60 Euro/ Nacht) - ganz sicher kein Ort zum Weiterempfehlen!
