What we were looking for

We thought we would do a long weekend trip to Riga but decided to stay in the resort town of Jurmala. We close this hotel as it seemed to have character and be well positioned within the town. It is clean, comfortable, well run and all at a very fair price. It is not a grand or smart hotel so don't expect extra frills. I would recommend it.

Excelent location, nice room, parking and the best part - the incomparable breakfast

I liked everything - excelent location, nice cozy room, nice view from balcony (pine trees, narrow street, going from center to the sea, resort type wooden houses,flowers aroud them and seagulls on roofs).
Really great breakfest - great variety, good taste (reason - everything is fresh, homemade and from natural local products).
One more plus - parking in the yard.
So I certainly will stay here when come to Jūrmala next time.

Not a Hotel but a B&B

Shouldn't be rated as a hotel at all! it's a poor B&B place. The staff speaks only Russian. Walls are paper this (as well as the towels) and bed was as hard as a rock. I was supposed to have: free WiFi, double bed, AC, iron, etc, Really a HUGE disappointmen, not worth the many at allt!! They said that I would have pay cash or leave my car number...of course I didn't.

Really felt at home

I stayed in two different rooms on the 1st floor, one twin room, later a single room and both were very clean and had all the amenities including a fridge, kettle, TV, desk etc. The bathroom had the heating turned on even end of August so that towels etc. could be dried, and it's just very cozy when returning from a walk at the beach (100 m) when the weather gets colder at the start of autumn. The staff was absolutely lovely, speaks English (and other languages) and always went the extra mile for me, e.g. earlier or packed breakfast, various tea bags and Latvian sweets, bicycle rental, description of walking routes etc.
The internet worked best downstairs near reception.
It's located in a quiet street with a view of other quaint buildings and trees, breakfast was in a heated area in the garden.
I don't know what mid-range means regarding price, but staying at this hotel is excellent value for money.

A lovely boutique hotel walk to beach

We stayed only one night here in a lovely room on the main floor for 55E. It had a round bed and interesting light overhead.
The staff was very nice and helpful.
The breakfast, European was ample.
We rented their bikes and went to the end oft the he peninsula and back. We were over the time limit but they forgave us.
I recommend this hotel highly and it is only one block from the amazing beach!!
