Fabulous.
I spent a week on vacation at Borgo San Francesco with my husband and our children, I am satisfied with everything, in the morning we would go down to the restaurant for breakfast, everything was delicious, you could find everything, Ms. Alessandra is uniquely kind, a truly special person, then not to mention the owner Michele Matassa, a very kind, welcoming person, and above all a kind-hearted person always available for anything. The rooms were clean, tidy, well-arranged and above all very fragrant, the cleaning lady Marzia is a very kind person, always with a smile on her lips despite her tiredness, she was always smiling. Excellent service in the dining room, Ms. Mara and Roberta are 2 magnificent, welcoming people who didn't let us want for anything at the table; the food was always fresh and delicious, compliments to the chef for the exceptional food. The place is enchanting, the children had a lot of fun in the pool.

Fantastic, excellent.
I was a guest for a week, enchanting place, very kind staff, Michele is a very welcoming and helpful person, I will return.

It would also be a nice place… what a pity!
Average location, overall negative experience as the place appears poorly maintained and messy. Sheets changed 1 time in 15 days and only one towel in the bathroom apart from the first few days.
We were on half board, breakfast was good and the lady was very kind, too bad about the dinner, very repetitive and of low quality. You ask for one thing and they bring you something else without warning. Reheated food and little variety. Never ate a local specialty dish.

grazie per averci onorato della vostra prima recensione.
Per rispetto di chi legge è doveroso precisare che non siamo allergici alle critiche ne tantomeno pretendiamo che tutti coloro che vengono al Borgo San Francesco debbano necessariamente trovarsi bene, apprezziamo le critiche quando risultano essere basate su fatti e cose veritiere, ne cogliamo il senso quando sono fatte con spirito costruttivo; fatta questa premessa questa recensione è un insieme di bugie e cattiverie dettate da animo rancoroso ed emotivamente instabile, non possono spiegarsi diversamente le vostre bugie: la biancheria da letto durante il vostro soggiorno vi è stata cambiata 4 volte, la biancheria da bagno tutte le volte che ne avete avuto l'esigenza: al ristorante avete in pratica mangiato tutto quello che avete desiderato, praticamente alla carta, soprattutto grazie alla vostra amicizia con una nostra collaboratrice ( aiuto cuoco) che vi ha consigliato di venire al Borgo in vacanza e alla quale giornalmente esprimevate i vostri desideri culinari: siete stati praticamente viziati da tutte le nostre collaboratrici di sala che le hanno anche fatto, cara Signora Mara, da dama di compagnia ( lei sola in piscina senza neanche saper nuotare e suo marito a scorazzare fuori per tutto il giorno).
Che dire cara Signora Mara!!! Si dice che la vecchiaia porti con se equilibrio e saggezza ma, purtroppo, non è il suo caso: ipocrisia e cattiveria non l'aiuteranno a vivere meglio, però ha ancora del tempo per redimersi.
Le auguriamo il meglio... buona continuazione di vita!!!

Beautiful property
We spent a week at this property, also driven by the excellent reviews: we were particularly struck by the uniqueness of the place (various small houses distributed over several levels) and the care of the greenery: very kind and helpful staff always ready to advise you on places to visit, basic rooms but equipped with all the comforts as well as being very clean: excellent buffet breakfast, predominantly Italian but also savory: we also had dinner a couple of evenings and we were very satisfied with both the quality and the prices: the pool is very beautiful and well-maintained.
I feel like recommending it and we will return.

Pleasantly impressed
We chose this rural tourism spot for our vacation on the Tyrrhenian coast in Gioiosa Marea.
What can I say... we were pleasantly satisfied, or rather, much more than satisfied.
Very kind and helpful staff, spacious rooms equipped with everything needed (we really appreciated the kettle and the bags to make our first coffee as soon as we woke up), splendid pool with clear water, sublime breakfast with many artisanal products: we also used the restaurant a few evenings and we ate really well.
We highly recommend it for a rejuvenating vacation and to those who still wish to get to know the area of the Saracen coast.
