We stayed in this beautiful apartment in Lora Hotel for one night en route back to France. It is an absolute gem of a hotel. Valentina was friendly, she made check in process so easy and the location of this hotel is perfect. We will definitely return.

Absolutely to be avoided — Total lack of humanity and safety for children.

I strongly advise against this establishment for families. We had a traumatic experience. I arrived with my two children aged 3 and 7 after hours of driving. Having no photo ID for the little ones (even though I had my passport, the French family booklet, and the father's documents sent directly), the hotel denied us access to our room.
While I can understand the rigidity of Italian laws, the behavior of this hotel was utterly cruel. At a time when the current Italian government and its President Giorgia Meloni advocate everywhere for the absolute protection of childhood and support for families, this hotel did exactly the opposite.
By throwing us out after 9 PM, they deliberately forced a tired mother to hit the road for 3 hours of night driving with two exhausted young children. Administrative zeal was prioritized over road safety and the sheltering of two little ones. Where is the "protection of childhood" when children are left on the street in the middle of the night?
To top it all off, the hotel categorically refuses to refund us. They are taking advantage of a good faith error to keep our money while they expelled us. This is theft and a complete lack of business ethics.
If you are traveling with family, look elsewhere: here, paperwork and profit matter more than the lives and safety of children. A heartless and immoral establishment.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS – Inhumane and dangerous for families

I strongly advise against this establishment. What happened to us tonight is beyond comprehension and reflects a total lack of humanity.
Despite a duly paid and confirmed reservation, the Hotel Lora simply put my wife and my two young children (3 years and 7 years) out on the street at 10 PM, on the pretext that they did not have their physical ID card with them. We did present the family booklet, and I myself sent in real-time all the proof of parentage (my ID, social security cards, and health insurance linking my children and my wife explicitly to my household).
Nothing to be done. Faced with obvious evidence, the management preferred to leave a mother and her two young children wandering the streets of a foreign city at a late hour rather than exercising common sense. This is an absolute disgrace for the hospitality industry.
If you are traveling with family, look elsewhere. This establishment knows neither the meaning of the word "hospitality" nor the basic respect for the safety of minors. We experienced a nightmare due to their bureaucratic rigidity and their completely inhumane behavior.
To be avoided at all costs.

Not a 3 star

I stayed one night in this hotel with my family and friends. Overcoming the fact that the structure is a bit 'dated, in our room there was a lot of dust, the double bed was composed of two singles that however did not fit together and were of different heights, in our room lacked the bidet. Although there was a sign that told me to wait two minutes for hot water after 20 minutes I managed to take a warm shower and my husband after me made it almost cold. We realized that the boiler had been turned off because the water was frozen, until 9 am the next day ..
