Wedding Anniversary Holiday

We love Italy and have been to Bari before a few years ago 2016.
We chose this b&b as outside of the town and quieter than the noisy street we stayed in last time.
Angelique and her mother and Bambino plus little doggy made us feel very welcome.
We loved the quietness of the b&b and the room plus breakfast was lovely, lots of croissants, and cake plus juice and tea.
Free parking either on her drive, if free or out on street.
Lovely clean accommodation, spacious bathroom and well lit at night.
We loved our stay so much we will be back.
Angelique we would like to book through you next time directly rather than booking.com

Absolutely Heaven!!!

This was our first visit at a B & B. I can tell you that the owner Angelica doesn't know much English but she goes out of her way with hospitality. Her oldest daughter does understand some English and was quite helpful. The place that we rented was very clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a very big tub!

GOOD PLACE FOR A SHORT STAY NEARBY AIRPORT

Because we arrived around midnight we searched for a B&B near Bari airport and B&B Valentino turned out to be a great find. Free parking was available in the street. We stayed in a deluxe room. A big room, with a big bathroom with all amenities and a separate living room. The bed was quite comfortable but the pillows were too thin for us and there was only one blanket, which left us having cold. One disadvantage: the curtains were transparent, at night the room was lit by the outdoor lighting and in the morning by the sun. Because of the rather sunny weather, we could enjoy breakfast outside. Breakfast is a real Italian breakfast: (really strong) coffee authentically made, all kinds of sweets, freshly baked warm apricot croissants and.. a lot of jam. The host is a friendly woman who speaks a little bit of English but we were able to understand each other well. A recommendation if you have to stay nearby Bari airport.

Great welcome to Puglia

Unbelievably welcoming despite our late arrival. They arranged to collect us from the airport and we were welcomed like family. The room was perfect with all amenities to suit. 200 metres away and we could walk along the shoreline. Breakfast was gorgeous with plenty of choice from home grown figs (organic from Dad's garden), to croissants, hams and superb coffee, all served with pleasure and a smile to melt the frostiest of hearts.
We want to thank Angelina and Marianne and her lovely daughter personally for such a fabulous welcome. What a great start to our first ever visit to Italy.

Lovely b&b

Wonderful b&b and we were catered for very well, gluten free breakfast was not at all a problem.
However, I would advise learning some basic Italian before finalising a decision on visiting Palese and Bari.
If you have intentions of going out for a few drinks and a nice dinner, I'd advise staying in the city as the last train back is 10:10. DO NOT get on the wrong train as we did and end up in Brindsey.
There is little to do in Palese itself, it has a cute little town and some gorgeous villas and homes of you fancy a nose about.
Upon out search for a beach, we found lizards and not much else.
Do not attempt the walk to Bari, you will give up!!
Be aware of taxis as they are expensive and drive like maniacs.
Stick to the main shopping street in Bari, when at the bottom go to Boccaccia the cocktail bistro. Lunch there is amazing as are the cocktails in the evening.
Have a wonderful time.
