Lovely trip away

Lovely modern building, room nice and clean. Great location for Bray town or using the Dart. The accessible room was spacious with a great bathroom. The carpeted room was nice but using a wheelchair it would have been better to be laminate or solid flooring.Great value and delighted we stayed here. The double door use to get the key cards was a bit tricky at the beginning but worked out fine a note with the key cards for a disabled booking would make it a bit smoother. Bet lovey stay and will be back soon.

Highly Recommend

A group of 12, we stayed here last weekend. In the center of Bray, excellent location. We all received our codes to enter the building and then to open the key Box to get keys our rooms. The room was spotless,, comfortable bed, lovely showers with care items, including hairdryer. No sound from the streets. I left two items after me and I rang following day. They posted both item to me without charge. I would highly recommend Friely.

Bad experience

Would never stay again. We did not receive the access code on the day, had to make numerous calls left voice messages, left emails, no replies. Finally got through to a guy who gave us code at 11pm that night!
The room and bathroom were very small.
The bed was uncomfortable, it had a hollow in the middle.
The shower was nice, that was probably my only compliment, but the shower gel and shampoo & conditioner did not smell nice.
The windows need blackout curtains as the streetlights shine through.
Noisy bedroom from traffic and passerbys.
We could hear another guest getting sick outside our window, we could also see the vomit stains in the morning on the carpet.
Customer service is very bad.
I got the text on the finally at 1pm after we checked out.

Get the codes!

The hotel is nice, clean, basic, on the main street. In a few minutes walk you can reach the station and the sea; the bus stop for Dublin is opposite the hotel. There is no breakfast service but in the room you will find the kettle and the coffee maker.
The downside is that there is no concierge and to access the facility you need codes that I had not sent. Fortunately I was with an Irish friend who was able to make a phone call, without having to make an international call.

Great hotel in Bray near the sea and Dublin.

Excellent hotel in , Bray main St. Great location with many charity shops and short walk to seafront. Local bus into Dublin city center or to Glendalough or EnnisKerry for day trips. Rooms are comfy and spotless. No reception but you are sent access codes on arrival day. No breakfast but many lovely cafes close by. Highly recommend the firefly in bray.
