Alright

Small, very simple hotel run by a local family
The rooms adjoined by two in a bungalow.
The whole thing is very simple but very clean with hot water and air conditioning
The region is not at all touristy and we only go there to discover the Gilis (Kondo and others) which are a real corner of paradise with a Maldives feel.
Completely correct catering based on fresh produce.

Forget your night's sleep...

The location is very good, near diveheaven in Lombok. The cottages are fine okay beds, air conditioning, and pool.
But if you want to sleep well: 4.00 a.m. The Imam of the mosque begins with the morning prayer. This is rock hard, two or three imams at a time deafening and at least until 5 o'clock half past six. The location is not okay in that respect if you need sleep

Charming welcome

Establishment with local standards with excellent welcome, decent accommodation and food without fuss.
A downside on the location near an industrial site (the factory chimneys are clearly visible from the hotel), and do not trust the photos of the beach which do not correspond to reality.
The beach located 300m away is an open-air trash bin (waste of all kinds and rattling huts) with very dirty water, the presentation photos are those of one of the Gilís located in the bay.

To recommend !

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this establishment. The rooms are simple but very large and functional. The bathrooms are also very simple but with a good flow of hot water. Wifi is present and bank cards are accepted. The food is satisfying. But the most important thing is the sense of hospitality of all the staff, you feel at home, everyone is very attentive to our well-being and incredibly kind.

Great stay at Bidara cottage Lombok.

My friend and I had a great stay in Bidara Cottages. Nana who runs the resort is wonderful. We had great food, lovely place to stay, simple, clean with a great little swimming pool. We went to the 3 small Gili islands just off the coast and the the snorkeling was fantastic. Snorkelled 4 days. Lots of coral and soft coral and fish. visited Tetu batu for 36 hours. Would come back again. Loved it all. Nana is a very generous manager of the resort.
