Himasailam Resorts: A Tranquil Retreat with Breathtaking Views
Nestled amidst the picturesque hills of Vagamon, Himasailam Resorts offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The resort's most striking feature is undoubtedly its awe-inspiring views, which extend across lush valleys and rolling hills as far as the eye can see.
My stay at Himasailam was nothing short of delightful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, with large windows that framed the breathtaking scenery perfectly. Whether you choose a balcony room or not, you're guaranteed a front-row seat to nature's spectacle.
The resort's staff were warm, welcoming, and always eager to assist. They made me feel right at home, and their genuine hospitality truly enhanced my experience.
The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious, with a wide range of options to suit all palates. I particularly enjoyed the local Kerala cuisine, which was bursting with fresh flavors and authentic spices.
While the views are the main attraction, Himasailam Resorts also offers a range of other amenities to keep guests entertained. The swimming pool is a great place to cool off and relax, while the gardens provide a tranquil setting for a leisurely stroll.

RECOMMENDED FOR SAFE, ECONOMICAL AND ENJOYABLE FAMILY STAY
We had an opportunity of staying in HIMASAILAM RESORT, VAGAMON, Kerala, recently for two nights (17th & 18th April-24).
Himasailam resort is a newly opened resort in Vagamon (Kerala), 96km away from Kochi international airport.
The resort is located at the top of a hill from where one can have a beautiful view of all surrounding hills and valleys. The view from resort is breathtaking and matchless.
Particularly the morning views at the sun raise is exotic.
The resort is having a comfortable parking area.
It is a calm and quite leisure place to enjoy tension free life.
The resort is located in the Kurissumala-Thangal para road (off Irattapetta-Vagamon road).
The approach to the resort is little difficult 9with unpaved patches) but manageable. One can reach the hotel in care itself.
On entering the resort, we could a see a decent waiting area and the reception counter.
The service by the personnels in the reception counter was superb.
The room which was allotted to me was 301(on the first floor).
The room was very neat, spacious with ample ventilation and lighting.
The room had a balcony from where the view was superb.
The toilet/bath was very neat and comfortable with ample supply of toiletries.
The room was provided with tea/coffee making arrangement with ample supply of tea/coffee materials, water etc.
The room had only a ceiling fan (it seems AC is not provided in the hotels here).
This made our room little hot during nights.
I found the services of housekeeping & room service as excellent.
A small restaurant is provided on the ground floor behind reception area.
The breakfast and other food items served here were very good.
The resort also has many other facilities such as a swimming pool, a beautiful garden etc
The resort is on a centrally located hill which makes it easier for us to visit various important picnic spots in Vagamon.
Our thanks to the excellent services rendered to us by the hotel staff (housekeeping, room service, restaurant, reception counter etc).
All of them followed the principle of “service with a smile”
Especially the services and helpfulness of Mr. Sreenath (counter personnel) is excellent and worth mentioning.
He is an asset to the resort. Our special thanks to him.
Overall, the stay was pleasant and enjoyable.
We therefore recommend this resort for a safe, economical and enjoyable family stay.
