This place seems very 1970’s
The room was tired and the bath products cheap and very dated. The place felt like it was good in the70’s but has not kept up with modern times.
Towels were old and abit worn out and the rooms were tired and not very clean .

Not in the least bit "ideal"
How can this pace be called "ideal"? Fridge but no mini bar; no pool towels food ok - nothing special but very expensive.
Worst was they had two different celebrations going on, one Friday evening and one from mid morning Saturday, and the disco was ridiculously loud, with that awful boom, boom boom you get when you can only hear the bass. I complained and they said it would be turned down, but I wasn't. Sure, they make money on weddings and functions, but they should plan better and not put an international guest in a room right by where the noise is the worst. It was my last two days of holiday and the whole experience was horrible.

Average resort . Absent AC dining hall in Chennai
What is good - staffs are friendly & efficient & fast .
Rooms are big , bathrooms are big with fan & clean .
Private beach access is clean .
Swimming pool is big & ok .
But the biggest letdown is
Reception is non ac . Very hot during checkin
Dining hall is non ac . Though there is a small AC hall with 3 tables for ala carte dining . But for morning buffet is in non ac dining hall . Though food selection is good , taste is ok . But you cannot enjoy eating in hot & humid Chennai weather ( if they had charged me half of what I paid then I would have said ok but they double the prices during weekend , which is not worth it )
