Pushkar stay

Umaid Mahal is an aesthetic heritage palace style hotel which gives you a feel of staying in a palace and not any hotel. Staffs are amicable reflecting the typical hospitality of Rajasthani culture. Food was well prepared and very tasty. Overall excellent place for a relaxing retreat in Pushkar. Highly recommended

Interesting!

Nice hotel, out of the hustle and bustle of Pushkar. Our bedroom was lovely with big very comfortable beds and nice clean light rooms, however it did have some shortcomings.
1 Eggs and meat are banned in Pushkar and it is a very traditional hotel and restaurant. This meant that food choices were limited, however the restaurant staff were charming and helpful.
2 Tips are highly prized and typically the women do the hard work. We opened our bedroom door to a posse of women each carrying one piece of luggage - some very small and each wanting a tip. The whole atmosphere around tipping felt very unpleasant ( and I say this as a happy tipper)
