Love it!

The localization is amazing!! Close to everything, I did all the visits by foot.
The staff was very supportive, and the bedroom big and clean. Everything was confortable and well decorated.
I have no complains.

Gorgeus place to stay in Budapest

I would like to say that this place really like me. The staff is so kind, polite and helpful. The breaksfast is so complete. The room so clean and wide. They helped me in everything I need. If I went to Budapest I don't doubt to stay in Budapest Rooms. It was a very great choice.

Decent accomodation

(+) spacious and clean rooms, near Jewish district, quite neighborhood, feeling like home.
(-) poor and untasteful breakfast (Spar brand products), uncomfortable beds, some piece of furniture needs renovation, walls need painting.

Great place to stay in beautiful Budapest

My husband and I stayed 5 days in the other rooms they have in Brody Sandor utca 19, a large yellow fronted building about 150 m from their main base in Szentkiralyi utca 15. There are 3 rooms here with a separate kitchen where the 3 rooms shared for breakfast. It was great having access to a kitchen and we used it to heat up the odd meal if we didn't want to eat out. We had use of a fridge, microwave and cooker. Our room was spacious and very clean with a very comfortable bed and plenty of storage. The bathroom had a good sized shower and again kept very clean, the best feature was the heated floor, great in the very cold weather we had. The room was always warm and quiet at night. It is based in the University area and very close to most of the city centre. We walked mostly but the Metro and trams were a short distance away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and food shops. Our hosts were very helpful, Balazs picked us up from the airport and gave us a lot of useful information on the way to the city. Atilla welcomed us and was there most mornings to give us breakfast and help us with any queries we had re our day. We were very impressed with our host and the very comfortable accommodation we had booked for a very reasonable price. We would stay there again and thoroughly recommend it.

Clean, good location but..

We stayed here for 3 nights and we've been hosted with kindness by the owner since the beginning. The room and bathroom were was large and the location of the b&b allowed us to get into town center in few minutes.
I can't give five stars for two main problems:
1) breakfast: there isn't a great selection and if you are not a fan of jam spread on a slice of bread or ham and cheese you might need to go somewhere else for your breakfast (no worries, Starbucks is nearby). The breakfast room is small and you might need to share a tiny table with other guests if you all show up at the same time.
2) bed and pillows: let's say I have had better night sleeps in my life. Mattress and pillows are extremely soft ( for my taste, you might love it) and the loud music coming from the club next to your room can seriously affect your sleep ( as well as the people talking. The walls are so thin that you can almost hear everything they say)
To summarise, it's cheap, it's in town, it's VERY CLEAN and if you are not too fussy it's a great place to stay!
