Had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Very helpful and nice staff.
Good breakfast every morning, delicious dinner enjoyed. Directly on a path so you can walk along the coast (cf. the salt path ) or take a descent down to enjoy the sea and delicious coffee!

Summer break on peaceful Guernsey.
Booked this hotel via the ferry website as a package, wasn’t cheap. This is August 26 hotel is more like a building site very limited parking due to builders filling up spaces. Generally the corridors need a good hoover and dust , our room was was rough around the edges ie doors and paintwork, Pillows and bedding clean but well used. 3 star rating is generous, I suggest someone from Condor/Brittany ferries go take a look!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are sorry that you decided not to stay with us, although we were disappointed that this decision was made only a few minutes after checking in.
We would, however, like to clarify a few points for future guests. Saints Bay Hotel is a three-star hotel which we take great pride in maintaining to a very good standard. Our bedrooms were recently refurbished, and the room allocated to you was clean, comfortable.
The vehicles in the main car park belonged predominantly to hotel guests who were staying with us while working in Guernsey. We also have additional parking available behind the hotel. There is currently scaffolding to the rear of the property in connection with the construction of our new kitchen; however, this work is separate from the main guest areas and does not prevent guests from enjoying the hotel and its facilities.
Our heated outdoor swimming pool and surrounding seating and lounging areas remain available, while our restaurant, bar and internal guest areas are fully operational, clean and well presented.
We completely respect that every guest has different expectations, but we feel that describing the hotel as a “building site” or the room as “rough” does not fairly represent the condition of the hotel or the experience we provide, particularly given the very short amount of time spent at the property before deciding to leave.
We are proud of Saints Bay Hotel, our team, and the hospitality we provide, and we will continue working hard to ensure our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Disappointed very bad memory
Booked this hotel for our anniversary. All reviews point to good hotel to stay at. But firstly phoned to see what time check in was. My partner told 15:00. I then looked on the website to see 14:00 and then phoned, to be told 14:00. Arrived, not greeted very nicely by receptionist. ". . Given key to our room and asked what time we were having dinner at . Room was not welcoming at all. bed very hard (some like that), just very boring and decor very very outdated. Pool area nice, but was busy due to dip and dine. Pool was a plus and that was the best part. Bar staff: some rude to my partner. When asking questions to the receptionist got a feel almost like she could not be bothered to help. Asked for wifi password to be told it should be beside TV and starts with (and gave my partner 4 digits), no wifi password in room. TV dusty and had cobwebs. Went back and Asked for password, receptionist said "already gave you first half", well first half wont get us on the internet. Toilet roll holder and radiator also filthy, room really needed renovating. We decided to check out and go back to our flat and book a meal somewhere else for our anniversary which we enjoyed. . Perhaps the superior rooms are nicer but for a standard room it was not nice at all. Did complain to the manager but by this time their was nothing that could be done. Safe to say we will not be back.

The hotel has been fully refurbished in 2021, when refurbishing our rooms we opted for a minimalist and comfortable design, however we are aware we cannot meet up to everyone expectations, as this is clearly the case.
Our receptionist is with us for a long time; it is quite hard to agree on your comments, her personality is exactly the opposite of your description, always very prompt to help even if she has to go out of her way.
Our waiting staff until date, has been always been praised by their politeness.
Regrettably we have no record of your complaint at the Hotel.
We have not been able to locate your booking with us, or matching any of records so if you would like to discuss any further, please do not hesitate to contact us on manager@saintsbayhotel.com.

friendly staff, okay food, needs an update
Staff was friendly, rooms were modern (if a bit dusty) and especially the bathrooms were comfortable. This hotel could do with some TLC as it feels "tired". Throughout the day the speakers play 50s and 60s music which, with the hotel looking a little run-down in places, evokes a very old-fashioned atmosphere. Breakfast is okay but nothing special and the same goes for dinner. The pool is a nice amenity but the exterior needs a serious update as it looks uninviting - some lounge chairs and nice plants would go a long way. None of this would be an issue if prices were a bit fairer; the location of the hotel is beautiful but doesn't warrant the steep prices (even in peak season) given the factors mentioned above.

Beautiful Bay
Nice place a little secluded, staff and owner pleasent waiters was so attentive all the time. Myself I felt the room could have been a little cleaner and Towels etc changed more frequently, but overall ok. I'm glad I took my vehicle. Lovely outdoor area.
