A wonderful grand dame in the world of luxury hotels. Comfortable in all aspects, understated and elegant, the Poseidonion blends modern comfort with its historical importance.

Exectional!

We stayed at the Poseidonion for 3 night during the week. All I can say is the hotel is PERFECT! We could not fault a single thing. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, even bringing a forgotten sweater to the port in time for our boat departure (thank you so much).
The breakfast on the terrace was exeptional with everything one could wish for. I highly recommend ordering the fresh eggs from the menu. Also dinner at the Verandah restaurant was very tasty with fantastic service.
The town is within a 2 minute walk and offers great shops and tavernas for lunch and dinner.
Thank you to Dimos the front office manager for looking after us so well!
Well will certainly be back next summer.

Extremely well managed hotel, in high decorative order. Room in new annex was great for 1 night. Bedding top notch. Pool was lovely. Terrace to front offered evening light meals and breakfast. Both excellent.

This is a beautiful old style Grand hotel which has been beautifully renovated.
Breakfast on the large terrace overlooking the ferry port was very good. The staff were very helpful and were able to let us check in early.
The concierge was able to talk us through restaurants and beaches for our short stay. We went to the beach club owned by the hotel on the other side of Spetses town which was great.

Truly exceptional hotel

The Poseidonion is a truly exceptional hotel and one of the most special places we have ever stayed.
We hosted our wedding weekend there last week, with many of our guests staying at the hotel, and the experience exceeded every expectation. The property itself is beautiful, the rooms are elegant and impeccably maintained, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between luxury and warmth.
What sets the Poseidonion apart, however, is the quality of its team. Organizing a wedding for over a hundred guests is no small task, yet every detail was handled with professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care. Dimitri, Evanthia, and Katerina were outstanding throughout the planning process and during the weekend itself. They were responsive, thoughtful, solution-oriented, and made both us and our guests feel incredibly well looked after.
The food and service were consistently excellent, and many of our guests commented on how welcoming and attentive the staff were throughout their stay. It is rare to find a hotel that delivers such a high standard of hospitality while also making guests feel completely at home.
We are deeply grateful to the entire Poseidonion team for helping create such a memorable celebration, and we look forward to returning for many years to come.
