An excellent stay

What a lovely small family owned and run hotel. Basic and very very clean. Comfortable bed, WiFi and a shared kitchen. Water pressure for the shower was great and lots of hot water. Rooms were sound insulated so we had great sleep at night. A beautiful flower filled shared terrace for morning coffee and moon lite evening drinks

I have a room with sea view on the 2nd floor on 24 February 2026 for 5 days from 9 to 14 April 2026. Floor of the hotel, booked directly with Ms. Hariklia by email for 43 euros a night and not through Booking.com, unfortunately...
I got a room on the first floor with a view of the hanging laundry, the curtains of the window had to remain closed, otherwise the other guests had access to the room. The water of the shower was cold, you could hear the water rushing during the night as the drain pipe of the upper floors ran through my bathroom. Neither in the bathroom nor in the room next to the bed there was an electricity connection. I left the next morning. Mrs. Hariklia said I had to pay half the amount for the 5 nights. But there was no contract except my email which clearly stated that I had a room WITH sea view on the 2nd floor. Stock had booked. I gave her 50 euros in cash, without a receipt, of course....Never again

Life in the bougaiinvillea

We came here 10 years ago and always wanted to return. Simple, clean and friendly with a flower fringed terrace and a useful shared kitchen. Just a short walk down some steps into town or down another track to the beach (though not really up and running early April). Hariklia, the friendly owner comes most days to service the rooms and have a chat. Great value

Wonderful holiday

Hariklia, the owner, already proved to be super kind during the booking phase and after meeting her we can only reconfirm.
The structure is simply wonderful, as can be read from all the other reviews, but what left us pleasantly surprised was the cleanliness of the room and common areas. We can't wait to return next year.

That “home” feeling!

It was the most comfortable and relaxing holiday we have had for years. Wish we could stay for a little longer. I have never come across a place cleaner than this one and I’m a very fussy one on that front. Just loved that safety, care free feeling even during covid times. Perfect location with the endless sea everywhere we looked and the moon rising right in front us every night. Excellent atmosphere with the friendliest and ever so kind hostess Hariklia. We had an excellent time and can’t wait to be back! Highly recommended. Thank you for everything. Maria-Joanne
