Outstanding!

Always on my Crete itineraries with my wife, and this year I also booked to stay with three friends of mine.
The Aptera Apartments are amazing value for money. Everything is immaculate, and so well looked after. Each studio or apartment has everything you need, the pool is huge, the grounds are wonderful, and the views across the bay just add to the experience.
The Kafenion 1912 is a fifteen minute walk down into the village centre, and is an added bonus.

Just fantastic we love this place and come back every year

We have been staying here for over 10 years and since our first visit it has become one of our annual holidays. The location is amazing, thermos so clean with everything you need. Number 4 is our go to apartment. As for Anthia, Kristen and Yannis they are just so lovely and the added touch of eggs cakes left at your door is a lovely personal touch. We missed Anna this year. Plus we also need to thank Helen as well. We are already looking forward to going back. Aptera Apartments are a true place to chill and meet people from across the world. Its a very special secret place

Simply the best!

Still as wonderful as ever - the best place to stay. Location is amazing, right next to the remains of the ancient Roman city of Aptera, looking down into Souda Bay, a few minutes walk down to the super eating places at the village centre, and your alarm clock is the tinkling if the sheep bells as they are released onto the hillside by the shepherd.
The pool is huge, and immaculate. The rooms and the grounds are immaculate as well.
Great value for money.
Great hospitality from Athina, Yiannis and Christos.

Still as stunning as ever.

We noticed that Aptera Apartments have now been recommended in The Rough Guide to Crete - and deservedly so. Stunning location, large rooms (studios, one bed apartments and two bed apartments), tremendous views over Souda Bay and up to ruins of the ancient city of Aptera, huge pool - kept immaculate but Christos, wonderful gardens - also immaculate, and remarkable value for money.

Third visit,many more to come.

Third stay here and still excellent. A car is essential, but you will not find better accommodation on the whole island.
The view alone is worth the price, but you have so much more locally and within a short drive.
We can 100% recommend Aptera Apartments, and still think you can not better them.
