Lovely,more spacious than expected apartments,lovely clean rooms,cleaned and replenished every day,great location,family that run it super helpful and friendly,will stay again xx

Faina apartment
This is the third time we have stayed in this apartment in Kardamena and, until this year, we have always had a great experience. We have always paid on time upon arrival, respected the apartment, and had a great relationship with the owners, who have always been kind. The second time we also brought some friends, and over time, I have recommended this place to others precisely for its convenient location, very close to the center.
Precisely because we have always had a good experience, I regret having to report an incident that left me very disappointed.
We booked and paid for 10 days of stay. On the day of arrival, we entered the apartment around 11:00 PM, practically only using it for the night. On the last day, we had a flight at 4:00 PM and asked if it would be possible to stay until 1:00 PM. The owner replied that, like last time, we would have to pay a supplement of €20, which is understandable.
At that point, I told her that in fact we would be leaving at 10:00 AM, without asking to stay until 1:00 PM. Despite this, she insisted several times, telling us that we had to leave the apartment by 9:30 AM, repeating it continuously.
What bothered me is that, having worked in hotels and bed & breakfasts, I know that normally check-out is expected around 11:00 AM. Furthermore, their website also indicates check-out at 11:00 AM. Considering that during that period most of the apartments were available, this attitude seemed to me to be lacking understanding and not in line with the hospitality we had always found in previous years.
It is a real shame because otherwise the place remains pleasant, well-located, and the owners have always been friendly. I hope this observation is taken as a suggestion for improvement because we have always had a great experience and would have liked to continue returning.

An excellent stay as always, apartments are very spacious and clean, the view is amazing, hosts are lovely as always and the property is safe and quiet and only 5 minutes away from the centre of Kardamena (beach, shops, restaurants). See you next year! :)

Well worth the money!
Just returned from a 2 week stay at Fania Apartments with my husband, and would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone.
The rooms:
The main bedroom area is made up of two single beds which you are able to push together. The mattresses are very comfortable. Air conditioning (€5 a night) worked perfectly and kept the room nice and cool.
The bathroom was nicely sized. The shower was powerful and a consistent temperature.
The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. I think the bedding was changed a couple of times whilst we were there. The room was also absolutely spotless when we arrived.
The kitchen area is very small, the only cooking equipment we had was a kettle and a toasty maker. However, this was no issue for us as all we wanted to make in the apartment was the occasional sandwich. Nice sized fridge which kept our drinks cold. Two of each items of cutlery, plates, bowls etc.
Location:
The apartments are in a lovely location. Super close to the main town area but far enough away that there was absolutely no noise on an evening. Nice views of the mountains from our balcony.
The staff:
The staff were absolutely lovely! The man that checked us in hung around until after midnight as our flight was delayed and was still very welcoming. The lovely lady (sorry we didn’t get anyone’s names) who cleans daily and is always around was so friendly. I feel like nothing would be too much for the staff here, super helpful and just really nice, friendly people.
Fania apartments is a little gem and I would 100% stay here again if we were to come back to Kardamaina.

Brilliant value for the price
After reading so many negative comments I thought I’d write something positive.
Arrived here late last night & was pleasantly surprised. The room is very spacious & clean. I’ve paid an extra 3 euros a night for air-conditioning & a safe. Yes, it’s basic but exactly what I need. The rooms are secure & close to the square (just 5 mins walk away so quiet). Very good value for the price & would use again.
