Best of the trip

The best thing we could do on our trip to Athens was book this hotel. As soon as the receptionist called Theodoro arrived, he took us a map and gave us directions and recommendations on how to see Athens. The reception is 24 hours. They have a vending machine with beer at the front desk. The hotel is super clean and careful to detail. They come in to clean and change towels daily. The rooms have a fridge and are decorated in a colorful way.The best rooftop from which you can see the partnon illuminated at night. Highly recommended.

Nightmare experience. Dilapidated facility, unacceptable dirt, and degradation.

A dilapidated facility that should be closed immediately. Scandalous facility in a degraded area. The staff at the reception was really unfriendly. The room was in a state of total abandonment: doors in terrible condition that barely closed, old fixtures, and lights barely functioning. The room was filthy and had never been cleaned: there were hairs everywhere on the floor and even blood stains on the walls and floor. The bathroom was tiny and filthy. Unbreathable air due to the smell of stale smoke. Sleeping was impossible: the mattress and pillow were extremely hard and without pillowcases. Stay away.

To be avoided mainly for cleanliness.

Looking at the photos that appear on various sites, it seems nice; perhaps the lobby and the stairs are the only decent things. The rooms have air conditioning and a mini fridge, but they have a terrible smell of smoke. I believe the curtains have never been washed, the floor is dirty, the bathroom is dilapidated, and the mattress is sagging. I didn't dare to look underneath; the sheets are clean, but I doubt the bedspread is, as it is full of cigarette holes. The floor is unwatchable, and the video won't load to show you how the toilet was dripping, with an incredible smell of urine... I am attaching photos; the only positive thing is the distance from the center, about 30 minutes on foot. The downside is that you have to pass through dirty streets full of homeless people and drug addicts. I would take away the two stars; one would be too much, as it is completely neglected.

Avoid!

Avoid, cigarette smoke in the room from our neighbors, dirty rooms, 2 by 4 m, similar to a double grave.
700 euros for 10 hours, we just left..
Booked with Opodo, bad bad bad. Avoid with all costs!

Perfect!

I often choose this hotel when I visit Athens. Very central point and close to metro station. A little dirty but safe area, never any trouble or fear of circulating there anytime. Clean room with all the basics, helpful staff, very good price, and I always find parking very close, almost in front of the reception. The refrigerator only had a problem. While it worked very well and the products were cooled immediately, made a loud and annoying noise, I had to take it out of the socket at night to sleep, take a look at it if you want, room 703. Thank you for everything. I'll be back.
