Charm and authenticity

We stayed at the Domaine du Chesne like many travelers on the holiday route... :)
and we loved it so much that we came back for a stopover on the way back! the castle is splendid, the park incredible with century-old trees, Bertrand and his partner are very welcoming and charming. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, a small... rather large haven of peace... We recommend this lovely address!

A wonderful night at Domaine du Chesne

We stayed at the Domaine du Chesne on our way to the Loire Valley. It is well located in a large park with large trees and a river flowing by where people can swim. We played pool in the evening and enjoyed the well decorated ground floors salons. the blade and knives collection was impressive, the art decor was original (the lady of the domaine is a painted) and tasteful prints all over the rooms. The suite was renovated and decorated with antique furniture, the bathroom was updated with a large tub we enjoyed. After a delicious breakfast, we visited the art studio and made a visit to the large old oak and giant trees of the grand entrance driveway.

Excellent séjour !

Situé au coeur d’un magnifique parc (n’oubliez pas de découvrir le chêne centenaire qui s’y trouve) Le domaine du Chesne est un lieu à part, empreint d’une âme véritable. Le château est superbe, décoré avec goût et raffinement et les chambres sont calmes et spacieuses. Un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer, sans oublier l’accueil particulièrement chaleureux de Marie-Laure et Bertrand des Abbayes. Un délicieux séjour, nous recommandons très vivement !

Séjour très agréable !

Excellent moment passé dans ce cadre exceptionnel : magnifique demeure, parc aux arbres centenaires entouré de forêts. Accueil de qualité dans un site au calme incomparable. Nous recommandons chaleureusement !

Un charme fou et un accueil au top!

Une demeure magnifique même si elle n'est pas terminée, ça lui donne un charme fou. Des chambres très confortables et un accueil chaleureux en toute simplicité.
Après le restaurant à 5 minutes en voiture, le propriétaire nous a gentiment proposé de nous installer dans le salon avec un peu de musique.
Petit-dejeuner sans prétention mais avec tout ce qu'il faut.
Merci beaucoup pour l'accueil.
