Room was clean enough but not absolutely spotless (found a hair that wasn't mine. These things happen). All facilities what I needed and firmly in the "budget" space. Nothing extra. Breakfast was also firmly in the budget space. What I need out of a breakfast over what I want out of a breakfast. Good value overall, got what I paid for.
Staff: super friendly, welcoming, accommodating. Showed me a place to store my bike in the hotel. Recommended the best coffee shop I've been to in years. Big fan of the staff.

Pleasant surprise
Ibis Budget hotels usually leave something to be desired.
In this hotel I found a girl at reception, brunette with long hair (sorry I don't know the name) EXCEPTIONAL, kind, helpful, smiling...
Basic room, clean, great value for money. Near the center, 10 min walk.
Paid street parking at reasonable prices.
Breakfast buffet, good and plentiful.

No parking
On the hotel's website, it says parking gold, upon arrival the receptionist informed us that the hotel did not have room for vehicles. We had to park in the parking lot of the kinepolis complex which cost us 30 euros for the night. We should have asked the question before taking the room but I could see that on booking, tripadvisor etc... it indicated free parking or even parking at 15 euros. Free parking is available in the surrounding area. I think that this should be updated because there is a deception about the services offered. Otherwise nothing wrong, clean room, location close to points of interest.

Good enough for one night but non two
I am so tired of Ikea-style-furnished, cookie cutter hotels, which in the end offer only minimum comfort
Not enough furniture: nowhere to put my suitcase other than the floor, no comfortable chair, too small bedside planks (not even tables), not enough hooks for clothes since there was no closet, not enough outlets for charging and badly placed, view of a wall kitty-corner, lousy toiletries: mixed hair, face, skin = too dry, good for none, difficult - to-use lock on the door, lousy breakfast, mediocre personnel

Sewage smell and uncooperative staff
A terrible smell of sewage in the shower, spreading throughout the room. Unfortunately, I paid for the stay before seeing the room. Above all, ask to see the room before paying! As the hotel had cashed in the money, the receptionist refused to see the smell and would not change my room. I spent very bad nights because of this problem, even though they tried, after only 2 days, to put a perfume to deodorize, but not very effective.
Recommendation: never pay for the room until you see it, and possibly plan a fallback in another accommodation!
Moreover, the rooms are not soundproofed at all.
Only the location of the hotel is a positive.
