horrible

We chose this hotel because it was the final stop of our road trip through the South of France. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst hotel we stayed in.
Upon arrival, we were not greeted and were completely ignored, even while sitting directly in front of the two receptionists. One appeared to be a trainee who spent more time on her phone than helping guests, while the other was extremely unfriendly. We received unclear information about the parking facilities and no explanation whatsoever about the spa or wellness area.
Calling it a spa is generous: it consisted of one sauna and a cold swimming pool, while the lounge chairs were rusty and poorly maintained. Our room also showed several signs of neglect, including damaged skirting boards, a broken mirror, and other defects. We had specifically booked a room with a kitchen, yet there was no proper table and chairs available to comfortably eat a meal.
Before arrival, we had requested two separate duvets. These were not provided, so we asked at reception. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, we were handed a duvet in a plastic bag and an extra blanket. This perfectly reflected the level of service throughout our stay.
After all these disappointments, we decided to leave the hotel after only two hours and informed reception that we wished to discuss a refund (parking + touristtaxes for following days). The receptionist seemed unable to understand why we wanted to leave, despite us clearly explaining our concerns several times.
The situation became even worse when we returned to our room to collect our belongings. The elevator suddenly stopped working, and we became trapped inside for more than 30 minutes. We repeatedly used the emergency alarm button, which produced a loud alarm intended to alert staff. Eventually, a technician arrived, and we were able to get out with assistance from another guest.
When we informed reception about the incident, the same receptionist claimed that we had never been trapped and that she had never heard an alarm. This was astonishing, considering a technician had been called to the hotel to resolve the problem. When we later asked how to access the parking garage via the stairs, she did not even know where the staircase was and suggested we use the elevator again. Unsurprisingly, we refused. The night receptionist eventually arrived and claimed to know the way, only to admit moments later that they had forgotten as well.
This was one of the most unprofessional and unpleasant hotel experiences we have ever had. The lack of service, poor maintenance, safety concerns, and dismissive attitude of the staff make it impossible for us to recommend this hotel. It is absolutely not worthy of its four-star rating.

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We are sincerely sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations.
We regret that several aspects of your experience—whether the welcome you received, the condition of certain facilities, or various technical issues—led you to shorten your stay. This is not the experience we aim to provide our guests.
Unfortunately, despite the information included in your review, we have been unable to locate your reservation in our systems, which prevents us from investigating the circumstances you described in greater detail.
We would nevertheless like to point out that guests are normally provided with information regarding parking access and that our teams are generally responsible for presenting the residence’s main services.
We also acknowledge that several technical issues have affected the property. Corrective measures have already been implemented, and additional actions are still underway to ensure a lasting improvement in the quality of our services.
Thank you for your feedback, which contributes to our ongoing efforts to improve.

Avoid!

Very disappointing experience – poor facilities and extremely rude staff. The hotel facilities were poor and extremely basic, and several amenities and services that you would reasonably expect to be included in a hotel stay were either unavailable or came at an additional cost.
We were told that our booking did not include room cleaning, meaning our room was never cleaned during our stay. We were also expected to take our own rubbish bags outside of the hotel and dispose of them ourselves. Having to walk through the hotel carrying bags of rubbish was extremely unpleasant and, quite frankly, embarrassing. This is not the level of service I would expect when paying to stay in a hotel.
Another particularly frustrating issue was the towels. Towels were not included in our booking, and we had to pay every time we wanted a clean towel. To make matters worse, the towel provided was extremely small — essentially the size of a head towel rather than a proper bath towel. Having to repeatedly pay for such a basic and inadequate amenity was incredibly disappointing.
The biggest issue, however, was the attitude of the staff. On every encounter, we found them to be extremely rude, unhelpful and dismissive. It was also very noticeable that they appeared to be significantly kinder and more polite towards customers of their own nationality. On one occasion, we were standing first in line but were told to wait while staff prioritised helping customers of the local nationality who had arrived after us. This felt extremely disrespectful and left us with the clear impression that we were being treated differently.
Finally the electrics in the room were switched off 30 mins before check out while trying to shower and leave the hotel, when I questioned the staff on the desk during check out the lady was unapologetic and unhelpful. The kitchen facilities displayed on the advertisement are also fully locked away and not useable.
For the price we paid, the level of service and facilities were simply not acceptable. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this hotel and would definitely not stay here again.

BAthroom Towel Problem

I would like to note, with regret, that there is a serious issue with bath towels at this hotel. I had a reservation for 9 nights, and after arriving, I learned that towels are changed only once every 4–5 days.
The reception staff are polite, helpful, and do their best to assist guests. The hotel is generally clean as well, so I do not believe that the employees are responsible for this issue. However, changing towels so infrequently is unacceptable for guests staying for an extended period.
Management should address this matter urgently. The hotel should provide a sufficient number of clean bath towels every day, based on the number of guests staying at the property.

Won’t recommend

I was not happy with the 5pm check in and 11pm check out -I even emailed regarding early check in but I did not receive a response
They charge for extra towels too and offer room clean at a cost, everything is at a cost. It more like a serviced apartment rather than aparthotel

Stay away!

The worst hotel in the last 10 years.
Air conditioning in the room broken, towel warmer electronics ripped off and disconnected from the main panel (who knows how long it has been broken), even soap is missing in the room... very dirty (look at the photos), inadequate amount of staff (20 minutes for check-in -only one person at the desk with a mile-long line in front of them-, only one person to handle breakfasts, room full, between cleaning and restocking the counters and welcoming guests), tables outside the breakfast area unusable due to pigeons that eat everything in a few moments. Only one coffee machine for the entire breakfast room with the cleaning staff filling three cups each and customers in line.
The so-called spa is abandoned, dirty, look at the photos.
