Best B&B in Lot, in France, in the world!

Without a doubt the best lodging I’ve ever stayed at. Aurelia and Julien are absolutely incredible — they care about their guests an unbelievable amount and are willing to go out of their way to make your stay as amazing as it can be. The building itself is absolutely gorgeous; the interior design is impeccable; the rooms are spacious, comfy, clean, beautiful; the property is perfect — lovely areas to sit outside, walk around, a sauna and nordic bath to relax in, a pool to cool off in; the location is perfect — just off to the side of the main street in arguably France’s most beautiful village; the list goes on. They also sometimes host cultural events which are a great way to spend your evening. Last but certainly not least, their two dogs, Basil and Janus, are the biggest sweethearts! It was a joy to play with them and just to see them hanging out around the property.
I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. It has everything you could ask for and so much more, and the people running it are some of the loveliest you’ll meet. Book it!!!

A beautiful and historic manor house

This beautiful old manor is set in a stunning location, near waterfalls, ruins and grottoes. The hosts (Julien and Aurelia) were delightful and accommodating, and the rooms were massive! Breakfast was simple, but plentiful, parking on site, great value for money, clean and extremely peaceful and quiet, with very good restaurants in Saint Cere, Padirac and Alvignac. We cannot thank them enough for their advice about trips, and the kindness and generosity of our welcome and visit overall.

A beautiful Manor House!

Lovely Manor House from the XV century set in a beautiful village with swimming pool etc….
Julien the owner gave me a guided tour and showed me the original painted ceiling and original paintings and I was transported back in history.
The bedroom was decorated with great taste, modern bathroom with a great shower…. I loved the atmosphere of the place and the smell of burned wood……
The breakfast was very yummy, freshly baked croissants etc…..
A great experience!
Thanks Julien and I hope to come back again.

Highly recommended.

Our first night of a long walking trip in The Dordogne and this fabulous property ticked all the boxes. History, wonderful owners, food, the coldest pool ever and even a hot tub. Autoire itself is tiny but very pretty.

Wonderful Manoir

Aurélia and Julien were the perfect hosts in this wonderful Manoir dating back to the 17th century and before
A very relaxed and welcoming environment with a pool in the garden .
Our dog Lumi was made to feel at home
Julien’s cooking was delicious
