Huono kokemus / low quality with services

If you come to Kitee, you should not come this place. In Sunday there was no services at all and even the price should include the breakfast, there was no breakfast at all. They say that it's because of Covid19, but there was not information at all of that in the room. When you look the hotels own websites there is information that you will have you breakfast to your room. But there was not. Also there was not staff at all, and all door was lock. After you call to some number you get someone to tell you information. We ask if we could have double bed, but maybe there is no doublebed at all in the hotel, or they just did not want to give us that. Even the hotel seems to be empty. I think if you come to Finland you will get really nice rooms with great location and services with same price. But not from here. I don't recommend for anyone.
Varasin huoneen tästä hotellistqa läheiselleni äitienpäiväviikonlopppuyöksi. Olen matkustellut Suomessa eri tason yöpymispaikoissa paljon. Hotellin yöpymishinta oli tasoon nähden korkea. Toivoimme huoneeseen parivuodetta mutta ilmeisesti sitä ei ollut saatavilla koko hotellista sillä tyhjyydestä huolimatta tätä toivetta ei oltu huomoitu. Hintaan kuului aamiainen. Hotellin sivuilta löytyi erillinen info että koronan vuoksi aamiainen saatetaan tarjoilla jääkaappiin. Erillisestä informointia tästä ei ollut huoneissa, eikä siitä informoitu myöskään hotelliin soitettaessa. Aamulla kaikki ovet sekä aulapalvelu oli kiinni. Etsimisen ja puhelujen jälkeen selvisti että aamiaista ei tarjoilla lainkaan. Hintaan tämä ei vaikuttanut. Hotellista ja sen palvelusta jäin tasoton ja ei-palvelualtis olo.

Average small town hotel

Clean, basic rooms that are common in hotels of this era in Finland. During summertime it is smart to ask for a room that is not facing the streets as there appears to be lofs of stupid moped driving hogs who like noisy gearing-ups.
Friendly staff, basic breakfast and adjacent pub for late night drinks.

Uskomattoman pysähtynyt paikka

Outoa asiakaspalvelua iäkkäämmän henkilökunnan osalta. Kahden melko hinnakkaan kala-annoksen valmistus tuntui kestävän iäisyyden. Melko varmasti sen takia, että pakasteet täytyi saada sulatettua ennen paistoa. Muikku (17,00 euroa) maistui lähinnä rantakalalta, rapeudesta ei tietoakaan. Perunamuusi oudon väristä harmahtavaa massaa. Ahvenfileet tavoittelivat näistä kahdesta annoksesta eniten rapeuden määritelmää, mutta tuoreen ahvenen maku puuttui tyystin. Mainitusta annoksesta laskutettiin 28 euroa, vaikka à la carten mukaan hinnan olisi pitänyt olla 27 euroa. Niin tai näin, mutta molemmissa hinnoissa vähintään kymppi liikaa. Töytyi mennä Savonlinnaan Kalastajankojuun, että saa kunnon rapeaksi paistettuja muikkuja. Suosittelen myös Kiteenhovin henkilökunnalle pientä muikunpaiston opetusmatkaa Savonlinnaan.

Ravintolassa luokattoman hidas ja välinpitämätön palvelu

Odotimme yli tunnin ruokaa vaikka ravintolassa ei muita ollut jonossa ja pubissa oli muutama ihminen. Ruokien perään kysyttäessä tarjoilija oli tyly ja välinpitämätön. Ei jatkoon. Nuhruinen ja epäsiisti paikka.

Huonoa ilmaa

Perushotelli 70-lukufiiliksellä, mutta valitettavasti käytävällä haisi viemäri ja huoneen dunkkis vaikutti siltä, että hotellissa on bailattu ja oksenneltu.
Käsisuihkua ei ollut, vaikka sekoitin on jossain vaiheessa uusittu!
