Rather old and tired property. Small, clean room. Room door lock tricky to operate with old-style key. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Old fashioned aircon unit. Basic breakfast. OK for 1 night but wouldn't particularly recommend - needs modernisation.

Make sure to call the hotel first if you are traveling with a pet as my reservation for the amount I was supposed to pay for changed when I got there.
I knew there would be a pet fee, even though it did not state anywhere online what that amount would be, but when we arrived and the front desk saw the note that we were traveling with a pet they changed my reservation, raised my room rate and included the pet fee on top of that rate change. I did not and do not have a problem paying a pet fee as I know that’s part of traveling with a pet.
My frustration comes from changing the room price when in all reality, they should’ve just added the pet fee onto my total through Hotels.com that I was initially booked through.
The room itself smelled like a pet store when we first walked in, after being in the room when you get used to the smell and it goes away. The basket with the pet supplies was a nice addition that I’ve never seen a hotel do.
The room itself overall was not terrible. My biggest frustration is just the rate for the room changed instead of the pet fee just being added on.

Staff was very friendly. Parking was easy and there was plenty of space. The room was clean and when we had an issue in our first room which we didn’t think was a big enough deal to move, they insisted which was nice because I didn’t want them to feel like I was complaining but just wanted to make them aware of the situation and the HAPPILY put us in another room to make things right! They were great and for being in such a small town I didn’t expect too much out of the breakfast but they provided enough to get some sustenance in you before hitting the road! 10/10 stay
