A perfect home base for our week at the beach.

We chose the Hostal San Juan as our base for a week in Salobrena. From the very beginning our experience was excellent, as Sebastian was ever so helpful on the phone with my questions. We chose the Capileira Suite which opens up to the roof terrace. I had my coffee here each morning and a wine on some evenings. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away, no big deal. The room has air-conditioning on demand and a most comfy bed. The little kitchen worked great for a quick bite or snack and the room had space to hang out mid day. The spaces were always clean and fresh and while we didn't need much help or direction Sebastian and Joanna were available, warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this lovely place for your stay in Salobrena.

Rest.

I have returned for the fourth year, I love how cozy it is, beautiful and very clean.
I love its location in the village, close to the market and shops, a lovely walk to the beach.
The owners Pierre and Joanna are charming, you feel at home, very cozy.
I will return next year.

Wonderful accommodation, wonderful Salobrena

Our first visit to this lovely town., and so to the Hostal San Juan.
We were checked in by Joanna, who was extremely kind and helpful.
The hostal is super clean and very comfortable in a great location. We did free parking nearby on arrival but on tge second day, we put the car in the mercado car park overnight for 14 euro., very short walk away.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't fabulous on our departure day, so we did leave quite early. We loved Salobrena and tried a couple of restaurants up by the castle which were excellent.
We met Sebastian who was also very nice.
We will definitely return to your hotel and Salobrena.

Delightful

My second visit to this delightful little hotel. The hosts are a charming couple who offer a warm, friendly welcome and are so helpful. The hotel has a rustic Spanish feel but with modern facilities.
Some great little bars and cafés nearby offering reasonably priced breakfasts and refreshments.
